Stopped here after the Padres game tonight. My Dad had a dirty knife, requested a clean one. The server brought a new bag of... silverware but no knife. It had 2 forks and a spoon. The 3rd bag finally had a clean knife. I had the Ultimate Omelet with haminstead of bacon. It arrived as requested. It did have a decent amount of ingredients, but most were on the outside becausethe cook didn't fold it properly. Other than that, it was good. Service 4/5. It was a little chilly in here. Read more
After been coming here for about month. I couldn't ask for a better team of hospitality and customer service. They never miss a... beat in service and know how to keep their guest happy and welcomed. I have to say.. My dish was delicious!!! Ordered a side of garlic toast that ended up cancelling cause I was finished with my dish and it had... not arrived. I went with my family to eat some breakfast, we ordered some breakfast platters and I got the country fried steak. All the good... we ordered (including appetizers) were very salty and almost non edible. It seems like this restaurant has some plates wherethey don't measure the salt levels and just throw at random because the steak I got was not salty. Maybe it was just a one timething. Plain and simple, Denny's is good. I appreciate a reliable meal. I always have leftovers that I can indulge in at a later time.... Denny's is good for families because of the prices and you are not limited to one cuisine. I've corralled at Denny's for abusiness lunch, after hours dancing, just because, dinner, balling on a budget. I'm impressed how the menu keeps reinventingitself while including traditional diner food like the patty melt. On this visit, I tried the American Patty Melt. I orderedswiss cheese and added sauteed mushrooms. The burger was pre-seasoned, the buttered bread was grilled to a slight crisp withflavorful caramelized onions and mushrooms. Oh mios dios. Not even exaggerating! And if you love coke---cola that is, thisDenny's has the right carbon mixture for addiction. Dianna was a server sent from the Gods of Customer Service clouds. I'veeaten at Denny's throughout San Diego and across the states, and this location shines with service, quality of food, quickturnaround, and customer care. This location is soooo good. Good food, employees are friendly, accessible to everyone, clean environment! Food has a decent... price, coffee is unlimited, pancakes are yum, eggs are perfect. I dont know what else to say or what they need to improve on!Water is free, service is awesome, free wifi. Its overall a great place to have breakfast during a trip to San Diego! Read more
