We didn't realize what this Cafe was until we pulled in. Not your stereotypical diner. If you're going for a fast meal this... isn't for you. If you want to help kids/young adults out who are trying to stay on the right path, this place is great. Afterreading about what this Cafe is trying to do and it's mission, I'd say our meal, that was extremely cheap for a ton of food waswell worth the wait. This place is beyond AMAZING! The young lady who waited on us was super sweet. Do not sleep on this spot. The chef... Karen.....AMAZING! Food is cooked fresh and the portions are huge. Amazing gumbo and club sandwich, beautiful, clean dining room and outdoor seating. Friendly service and a great... community-focused mission. They even have locally produced meats and veggies for sale and a little free library in thecourtyard. We happened to stop by without knowing anything about it while driving back to Dallas. It was 100% worth it to take ashort detour from the highway. Please support this wonderful small business! Read more

We were traveling through and happened on this gem. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly! The sandwiches were fresh and tasty... - maybe the best club I ever had. They grow their own vegetables used in the daily specials. Give them a visit! Read more

Food was very delicious and waitresses had good hospitality. Really enjoyed everything will go back again.
