I loved this Waffle House. I had the eggs, bacon, hash brown and waffle breakfast with an orange juice. I also had the chili. I... particularly enjoyed the loaded hash browns and the crispyness to the edges of these. I loved every bite and had enough to sharewith one other person. If I lived near this location, I would come regularly. The meals are very well priced (I spent $10.50 onmy plate) and I could tell regulars felt at home here. I will be back again! Read more
I love that someone the older waffle houses are still around they truly are my favorite ones. By this time these waffle house... are set up and already figured out. Our story is the same as Katie K. How do you tell people you're closed when you're not closed. We were immediately told to go... orders only. None of the tables were bused. Half the restaurant was closed off with people eating at one table. We got lucky,the cook got our order and did her job. When she finished our order, she left the restaurant and told her help that they wereclosed. The young man working tried to spin me a story about supply and demand and how the store was out of everything and howhe was a cook working the register. Cooperate management, you may want to consider firing the entire team and start over with anew night shift. Everything was good (staff, service, food etc.) except the all the flies! The restaurant has two doors to walk through to enter,... so it should help prevent flies from getting inside. Somehow there were still probably ten flies buzzing past our heads and foodfrom the moment we entered until we left. I was there with some friends and coworkers. If I wasn't there with them, I would haveate elsewhere. Will not eat here again until the housefly infestation is sorted. Read more
Stopped in for a late dinner after a show at the Opry. Got seated right away. Sam, the owner, was our server! Sam made us feel... right at home. The food and service was excellent. I will definitely be eating there again. Read more
The service was great it may have took her a minute to get to the table but once she did everything was on point the food was... quick. For the Nashville TN McGavock Pike location in Opryland area: Was my second visit to this particular one and it?s been... something each time. This second time I was in town for my first Josie Awards appearance for independent music artists andordered to go at the bar on October 23 late night. A cook and a waitress were working. No prob ordering paying and tipping thewaitress. However the cook working that shift at one point asked me if I wanted my tomatoes diced as he raised the threetomatoes with his fingers (did have gloves on) to his own eye level or just a bit lower as if this really needed to happen forme to be able to answer his question. It seemed a little uncalled for not necessarily unsanitary, maybe, but what customerwould appreciate a gesture like that with food they were to eat. I opted to not say anything then for my own personal reasonsbut this definitely is not a ?professional? move. He then ?gracefully and nicely? placed my order in a bag and said have a goodevening.
