Some of the best tacos we've had anywhere. Lots of different taco ingredient combinations on the menu. Be sure to try the red... velvet cake as it's excellent. The corn-based plastic spork is biodegradable as are all of the containers provided making themalmost plastic-free which I absolutely loved! The tacos were delicious and decent size but the prices ranged from $4-$6 per taco! A little pricey for a taco, in my opinion.... Also had to pay for parking, didn?t love that. Location is great if you?re out on midtown and need dinner or a snack. I woulddine here again if my friends wanted to go but I wouldn?t seek it out on my own. The margs were a little sweet for my taste butstill good overall. I originally wanted a Paloma but they were out of grapefruit soda but didn?t tell me until after we paid forour drinks. The girl at the register had a little bit of an attitude when she was telling me they were out. Read more
Great place for late night tacos and margaritas in Nashville! The taco menu is very unique with tons of options and the quality... of the tacos was fantastic. My personal favorite is the Buffalo chicken. The serving staff is also hilarious and verypersonable! Definitely recommend! Read more
Here is your warning. You will want to eat all the tacos! We got a bunch of different ones and my favorite were; Nashville hot... tofu, chicken and waffles, shrimp, and the cauliflower. The curry dip was also amazing! I would highly recommend this as a placeto go to away from Broadway! Read more
A very fun, quick and tasty dining experience. Even with the restaurant very full around lunch time we got our food very... quickly. I was most impressed and appreciative though about how careful and attentive they were about my daughter's need forGluten Free tacos. She is almost Celiac and has to be extremely careful. I understand that when they get those orders, theyclean the space and change gloves to make sure there is no cross contamination. She had no issues at all here. I had the BuffaloChicken and the Chicken and Waffles tacos, the right and leftmost tacos in the picture respectively. Both were very good, andthe C&W taco even had a waffle imprint on the tortilla. This place is an awesome addition to midtown! The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is excellent. Great queso, tacos,... cake and margs - what more could you ask for?! The Red curry coconut queso was quickly consumed at our table, and I tried theGreen chile pork, and Shrimp & grits tacos and both were delicious. I also enjoyed the flavor of the ?Crisp tots & local egg,?which could be a late night breakfast or a shared snack. Stopped by Velvet Taco after the Red Hot Chili Peppers show. Our hotel was only a block away, and there were several choices in... this area, but looking at the menu online piqued our interest. Great space, get in line on the right, the menu is on the wall.Good luck. Too many good choices. Ultimately we went with a 7, 12, 16, and 17. Oh, and an order of Queso Blanco. They call yourname when your food is ready, pick up on the left. As far as the food goes, everything we had was delicious. Fresh ingredientsstacked high (almost too high, we made quite a mess with falling toppings). Super friendly staff, will definitely return on ournext Nashville trip. Read more
