The food was cartered for a meeting . No tomatoes no extra condiments. Just wasn't my cup of tea. Actually the cookies was best... part of the meal. What was the jello. My co worker said the chicken said needed a little more mayo or manynosie. Read more

Food is fixed fresh and they do a huge volume of business for and with an early start to lunch time. The menu is largely... sandwich, fruit salads, pasta salad, no cooked heavy meals or meat and fried food type things. They're famously known for theirchicken salad and fruit tea. Everything is largely served on a paper plate/holder decorated with dollies. Food orders can becalled in to be picked up or you can place at the counter to eat at 4 top tables and wooden bench booths or outside if weatherpermits. Once an order is placed, the order is prepped in the back and delivered to your table by a female army of servers. Youclean up after yourself at meal end. The biggest downside is the prices are outrageously high for the type of food and portionsyou receive. It's no bargain and there's no changes to the items on the menu except the escalating prices. Food is great when they actually serve it hot and give you the correct items. It?s great half the time. Frequently soups are... barely warm and they will sell you items and then come to your table after the fact that they have sold out or didn?t have anythat day. For a family of 4 today they served half of the food correct and the other half of the food was unavailable. Nooffer to refund but to just pick something else we didn?t want. All of the soups today were cold. Lastly, about half of theemployees are not particularly friendly but the other half are quite pleasant. Seems to be 50/50 on just about everything atThe Picnic. I just discovered this place and it is amazing! I feel so dumb I did know about it before. The waiters are super sweet and nice... and the food is traditional. The southern pecan coffee is delicious. We will be back! Read more
