Reviews for The Eastern Peak - Thompson Lane in Nashville, TN
I had the Katsu Don. It was good but I would order something else next time. Of everything we ordered the crispy pork pasta was... the best... And we loved the gyoza too! Read more
Fantastic food and service. We have a child with severe food allergies and they were completely accommodating. She was able to... order off the menu and enjoyed every bite. The rest of the family’s food was fresh and well prepared. Definitely on our listto stop when we visit Nashville again. Read more
We went for happy hour while visiting Nashville because this place seemed like it had a good one. I couldn’t have been more... wrong. We were the only table when we arrived at 5 and two people were at the bar. It took over 5 minutes for our server to comeeven talk to us and when he finally arrived he had ZERO idea what was even on the happy hour menu. I told him I’d look on myphone but he brought over a ultra old, very water stained menu over. Then he left again. We were finally able to order drinksand food and he still had no idea, even after pointing to things directly on the menu. You can tell the sushi roll was coveredin ketchup like substance (barf), the Gyoza was super bland and we didn’t finish it all. The Wok Edamame was SUPER good andthat’s why this review is getting 2 stars. I asked for sushi mackerel (with rice under) and I got sashimi instead. The servernever came back to check on us or offer any more food. We finally had to flag him down to get our check. Would not recommendeating there. Maybe take out the wok edamame but that’s it. Came in for happy hour and had a few dishes. Presentation was wonderful and their flavor was amazing. The steamed dumpling... flavors were a little lack luster but dipping them in the dumpling sauce did help a little. The staff was super friendly andhelpful. The restaurant wasn’t too busy and we were seated immediately. Read more
Absolutely pleased with every dish and cocktail purchased; the flavors were bold and unique. Service was phenomenal, from the... hosts at the door to the waitress. Perfect lighting for the mood I was in. Definitely a must-have when visiting the city again. Read more
I don’t know where to begin, I LOVED this place! Jake was our server and he was so attentive and friendly! He knew the menu... inside out and every recommendation he made was delicious! We tried the steamed dumplings and Pork Belly Yakitori and oh my werethey good! The Seared Duck with red curry was such a great pick too. It was a very flavorful dish and I’m so glad we took arisk and tried it. Unfortunately I can’t remember one of the rolls we had, but The Gulch roll was super cool and tasty. I meanfrom start to finish it was the best experience; the food, the service, and the atmosphere were perfect. I can’t wait to trythe rest of the menu now. ?? Update: 1/18/2022 The place has yet to disappoint! Came back years later and it’s stilldelicious! The steamed dumplings, drunken noodles, Japanese Curry, and Pad Thai were all so tasty and full of flavor. Read more
This is some of the most mediocre reviews in Nashville. With the reviews I thought this would be much better. This restaurant... is overpriced for what it is. The food tastes like cheap Chinese. The sushi was mushy and was just overall not worth it. Theyhad to comp the TNT roll because it was just not good. Our server was new, but he did a great job, so no service complaints. But, we will not be returning. Read more
Had an Uber eat take out order of Thai fried rice and miso soup. Both items were extremely salty to the point that it was almost... inedible. I ate half of the fried rice hoping that only parts of it was salty but no, it ended up numbing my entire tongue. Hadto stop eating right then. I often dine in Eastern Peak but never have I had such a terrible experience with the food. I’mvery disappointed. Read more
