UPDATE: I don't know if they just did a complete turnover of their staff or what, but the customer service is sooo much better... now! Upgraded from 1 to 4 stars now. Only cons are the sketchy location and cleanliness of the store could be improved. I camehere to use the restroom then get two pints of chocolate milk. The checkout counter lady asked if I was a Speedy Rewards member,and I said no, and without me asking if I wanted one, proceeded to scan a card anyway (I was actually gonna say no as I don'thave any Speedway locations where I live). Apparently, she had a problem with me putting my change on the counter instead of inher hand and had to be rude about it. Even though I didn't see her hand cupped for me to put change in still doesn't give her anexcuse to be rude. Needless to say, I won't be back to this location. The Shell station on Fesslers Lane has nicer staff...andbetter gas. Read more

This eatery is located inside the Speedway convenient store/gas station. They offer a great variety of cooked to order... sandwiches, subs, burgers, paninis, pizza, and breakfast sandwiches and bowls well. Fresh and of good quality compared to otheroptions at gas stations. Join Speedy Rewards and collect points on each transaction for free food and beverages. Cheap fuel aswell. Read more
Truckers Beware: There's a good chance you can't get fuel here at night. I work for a company that hauls fuel for the railroad... in Nashville. We go on outbound runs all over central Tennessee and southern Kentucky. On several occasions we've come back froman outbound run low on fuel, and been told that the cash register attendant "doesn't know how to work the diesel pumps." Now,this wouldn't be an issue if they simply had the card readers outside working, but a couple months ago they did some kind ofrenovation, and now we can't use the card readers or get receipts at the pump. That's not the worst of it. I was having aconversation with one of the attendants about this last night and she told me to my face, "I just tell the drivers that thepumps aren't working when I'm up here. I work the food side, so I don't need to know how to do this." What? You're running thecash register of a gas station and you don't think you need to know how to work the diesel pumps because you're USUALLY on foodside? I didn't give her any grief about it, but I did warn her that OTR truck drivers would probably cuss her out if it happenedto them, to which she responded "Oh, that's already happened." What the hell is the management doing?! Oh, we'll getthere. Luckily for me there was another employee there that was on a break before going home, and he knew how to run themachine. So I go pump my gas, come back to pay, and stand out side so that same employee can finish his swisher. As we'restanding there talking, the manager walks up to the door and tapes up a sign that says the diesel pump credit card machines areCLOSED FOR THE NIGHT. Does the owner/corporate know that the manager of this store is shutting down the diesel pumps for SemiTrucks with corporate cards instead of cross training his employees? Pretty big fuel station, has an entrance for large trucks and semis. Staff is hit and miss most days. Some days half the pumps... are working for the large vehicles and on busy days get ready to wait a while. Exiting this fuel station is not too bad, a lotbetter than most speedways. Read more
A busy Speedway, not a bad place to stop and get things done. Decent cafe. Keeping in mind the store was not as tidy and had a... smell to it. But like anywhere else, its the customers that are coming and going are the ones that make a place dirty andsmell. The staff here is great... Read more
I have decided to take my business elsewhere..the pregnant woman there doesn't care about the customers, and expresses her... opinion , good or bad. I was buying $500 fuel per day, but was asked to wait to the side so she could check out a beer andcigarette customer.They really dont care if you buy there or not. I started , as of last night taking my business elsewhere..Iam on a time schedule and dont have time to wait 10 or 15 minutes while she converses with everybody and kids around andcomments about this or that.. its a new store, but needs management pretty badly.. Too bad the café has been closed for some time now. Originally, I was told it was due to the AC being broken. Now, there's... AC (as much as you're going to get from a very busy building) only a few, not very good, options. I am happy that it is slowlybecoming a 7-11! Slerpees are a weakness of mine. Also, there are some really beneficial "rewards" in the rewards program. For example, purchase 3 juice coolers and receive. 20 cents off gasoline per gallon right now! "Coca-Cola Club", etc. Read more
