This is at the top of the Nashville bbq list, neck and neck with Martin?s IMO. Pulled pork, mac and cheese, baked beans and... banana pudding are all elite (I?m sure brisket is too, just didn?t try). Potato salad is very good too, especially withseasoning they top with. I enjoyed the atmosphere, smaller store but plenty of outdoor seating. I?d suggest they add or give youoption to add coleslaw to pork sandwich. Similar concept to Bringle Oasis, but I think Willie?s is much better. 5 stars all theway, can?t imagine a rating any less. Everything about this place was amazing. All of the sides are amazing. The pulled pork, brisket, and ribs are all to die for.... Get there early because they will sell out of some things. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the cornbread. It's notthat the cornbread was bad it's a personal preference thing. I prefer a sweet corn bread and this is a savory cornbread. Thisplace may be a little off the beaten path of other BBQ places around Nashville but it's worth it. Read more

Texas style BBQ is the best in Nashville. I?m a TN native and lived in Austin TX for 3 years. Home to some of the worlds most... famous BBQ restaurants. I have to say that this is the best BBQ in Nashville. I?m not going into detail on this just go try it. Read more

It?s harder than you?d think to find really good barbecue around Nashville. Peg Leg? Meh Martin?s? Went downhill Pleased to... find that Shotgun Willy?s is the real deal. It makes Martin?s seem like McDonald?s in comparison. Brisket was moist and Smokey.Ribs were spectacular. Best smoked sausage I?ve had. Sides were great. Zero complaints. This is my new spot for barbecue, period. If you come with friends, get the $70 platter to share and try ribs, brisket, and sausage. Chefs kiss Read more

So I randomly stumbled across the best pulled pork I've had yet. Not just in Tennessee...but anywhere. Shotgun Willie's BBQ is... incredible, and I can't wait to get back for the beef brisket. Sign says open 11-3 , but they go until sold out. Which in mycase it was about 1:45pm. So glad I was the last person to get the pork! What an absolute gem! Offers dine in or on the patio. After speaking with the owner, he explained the cooking process, what kind of meat he uses ect. What a pleasant guy. Cannotexpress in words how good the food is. Ok, enough talk, get off this app and go get some Shotgun Willie's BBQ before it's soldout! ..Go! Read more

The brisket and sausage link were full of flavor and so juicy. I thought the portion of brisket I got was very generous and... actually had some leftover. Loved the mac and cheese and green beans. Potato salad and baked beans were good too, just liked theother two sides a bit more. People behind the counter were extremely friendly and helpful. They have outdoor seating as well, which is great this time of year! Read more

Best Brisket around! Great little place outside the city. Sandwiches and plates came with great choices for sides. We enjoyed... the baked beans, queso mac and green beans. We also tried the smoked sausage and it was awesome as well. We will be backbefore we head out of town! Bill and his wife seem like great people. Read more
