We were looking for some legit BBQ while we were staying in Nashville for a charity facial hair competition. We decided on... Puckett's We made reservations and found parking that was pretty close on the street. Our server was awesome and friendly. Thecatfish is awesome! 100% recommend! We got the farm, which is a little bit of everything we were blown away by the chicken andthe pulled pork. The ribs seemed tough, and the brisket was dry. I'm not sure it is just the BBQ way, but I thought brisket wassupposed to be tender and juicy, and ribs should fall off the bone. (But this was not our experience) Everything tastedawesome, and the staff make up for the 2 minor glitches. We would come back! Read more

A must visit iconic restaurant in downtown Nashville. Nice wooden interiors & rock & roll vs. country memorabilia adorned the... spacious setting. The fried catfish was delicious & all the wonderful side dishes were good too. Although i recall they hadsmall pancakes instead of cornbread, it was different. I believe staffing was short-handed the day we went. There was a bit of await-time to get seated. We had to flag another waitress at the end of our meal for the bill bc our main waiter was nowhere tobe found. All in all, we had a good time & plan to be back. Read more

I love Pucketts. This is the fourth location I’ve been to and all of them are great. Came here to eat with my cousin and... it’s a super nice interior. Plenty of country art, a nice stage and all of the usual rubs and sauces for sale. Cold beer ontap, a killer burger and a great performance by the Dairy Daughters made for a great dinner. Here’s the breakdown: Greatfood +1 star; great music +1 star; excellent service +1 star; cool interior +1 star; great company +1 star. Will go back againfor sure. Read more

I’ll cut to the chase on this one. The brisket was like boot leather and the ribs were like trying to bite bark off a tree... branch. I can (barely) understand if I had been there on a Tuesday and this was Day 3 of heating up weekend leftovers, but thiswas a Saturday at dinner time rush. If I was in charge of sending those meats out to customers instead of looking at them andsaying we’re all out and not serving them, I would resign because I clearly wouldn’t know what I was doing. It wasincredibly disappointing. That being said, the skillet mac n cheese was the star of the show. Why it’s only a $5 add-on andnot a dinner entree, I’ll never know. The barbecue sauce was amazing and made the brisket and ribs palatable, but thatshouldn’t be its job. The chicken and pork was perfect, but shouldn’t have overshadowed the other meats like it did. Thebeans and collard greens had too much vinegar for my liking, but I’ll admit that’s a personal flavor preference and won’tknock them for that. The coleslaw tasted store-bought and was disappointing for sure. If you can’t make something better thanthe local grocery deli can make, why is it on your menu? The brisket nachos were actually really good despite the beef jerkythey were passing off as brisket. Maybe my expectations for good BBQ in Nashville were too high, but I doubt it. Cool space, good ambiance, and great staff though, so you make your own call. For me? I see no need to go back nor will I recommend it toanyone. Read more

WONDERFUL atmosphere and cool place. Our food though, was sub-par. And for what we got, way overpriced. BUT it was still good... food. Smoked meatloaf was good, but didn’t live up to the hype. A tad too crunchy as well. Fried chicken (white meat) wasnot great; dry and chewy. Which was a big disappointment because the hype was BIG. Sweet tea was awesome. ???? Read more

Neat spot in Nashville, great place for a family. The food was pretty good and service was welcoming. We had lunch so it was too... early for live music but I bet it ties the whole experience together. The sweet tea was absolutely perfect, just the right sweetand what you’d expect from Nashville. We also got a vanilla milkshake with peach cobbler in- it was SO good! I’d eat hereagain, it was a great choice after just landing. Thanks! Read more
