I enjoyed the Nashville Hot Chicken here. But I did not revisit it at second time while visiting Nashville. Next time I would... like to try one of their restaurant locations for a comparison as this one was in the Assembly Food Hall (operating out of astall). Being in the food hall it offers a lot of seating and many other vendors to satisfy your group. Definitely recommendchecking it out - hard to not go to the original. Read more

Was craving a Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich while visiting the Assembly Food Hall on a Friday night. It was late, so the crowd... had died down. Ordered The Andre Chicken Sandwich with sweet heat sauce. It was ready within 10 minutes. Chicken was freshlymade and had the perfect amount of heat. I've tried hotter sauces and they were doable, but took away from the flavor. Chickenwas very crisp which was complemented by the slaw and soft bread. Great place to get a Hot Chicken sandwich if you're aroundthe Assembly Food Hall. Read more

The fact that this location is a high volume food court situation is definitely a factor for the review. It is definitely... convenient to order food here and then have plenty of follow up options including a bar within sight line and dessert likewaffles. Also, there are plenty of other food options if your partner (hot-)chickens out. I ordered the Andre medium sweet heatsandwich with a side of baked beans and potato salad. The sandwich was adequate in heat for medium and the combination of a semismoky honey mustard sauce was nice. This particular sandwich was slightly overcooked but otherwise very tasty. The coleslawtopping worked well with the other flavors, and even the bun was good (sweet and soft). The baked beans were not overly sweet, but had a dimensional brown sugar note alongside a nice smoky pork flavor to them. The mustard-based potato salad was wellbalanced and fits my ideal definition of a southern mustard based potato salad with noted of dill, pickle relish, andonion. Overall very good, although not the best we had on this hot chicken tour of Nashville. Read more

If you love overcooked and tough Nashville Possum Sandwiches this is the place for you. The service was speedy, the staff was... nice the Andre's Medium Chicken Sandwich had to have been the toughest least flavorful protein I've ever eaten. It looked great, but was tougher than Johhny Cash. Read more

Was very excited to finally try the famous Prince's Hot Chicken. I ordered the XX Hot, trying to be a tough guy. After the first... couple bites, I was crying like a baby! Sweat dripping down my head, tears down my bright red face! I like hot stuff, so long asit's flavorful. Unfortunately, Prince's Hot Chicken, while hot as fire, is NOT flavorful. It tastes like you're taking a spoonfull of chile powder into your mouth. Yuck! The collard greens and mac n cheese were very good but the chicken just is nottasty. I did have a bite of my friends medium and that was tasty. But if you're looking for a good tasting hot chicken, thisjust is not the place. Their closest competitor wasn't much better. Read more

A good experience with classic fried chicken and truly delectable sides. I had the chicken tenders and they were plentiful and... served on top of two pieces of bread. They were topped with vinegary-spicy pickle slices that I really enjoyed. I got two sides:the mac and cheese, which was smooth, creamy, and heavenly. Nothing added here - just butter, cheese, and milk. My second sidewas the greens, and they were quite delicious, if not a little too salty. My companion ordered the sandwich and even at mild, hefound it a little too spicy for his taste, so I recommend being careful here when it comes to choosing your spice level. Servicewas speedy and the chicken was obviously of good quality and much better than you will find in a lot of fried chicken places. Read more

Damn good chicken, poor service. I actually feel bad because it's high volume and it must be hard to deal with the lines.... But.... It honestly could be better. Great food if you have a tolerance for the process... I also ordered a hot spicy level. When I asked for dry spice to add on top, they took my order into the kitchen and returned it to me mysteriously unchanged. Iwould think that's suspicious. Read more

I came to Nashville in search of the best hot chicken. I was told by all the locals that Prince?s is the best. I went to the... food court near Broadway that had Prince?s shack and I ordered the Andres Medium. It was not as spicy as the cashier said itwould be and the sauce was very under flavored. When I think of a Nashville hot chicken, I want the crispy mess of sauce andcrumbs. However, what I had was more of a sloppy sandwich thrown together and a sauce barely drizzled on the entire chicken. Itwas very sad to be honest how the sandwich looked. The chicken is very thick in the center so you lose all chicken sandwichflavor in the center and are eating start plain under salted chicken. In some bites. I gave a 2 star because the employees werenice and work very fast. Read more
