The window tints in the restaurant are super dark so it looked closed but it was open. Also it was easy to park, a ton of... spaces. Ordered the 4 piece Hot Chicken Tenders with a side of Coleslaw and Mac and Cheese. The spice level was Mild and thathad more kick than the Hattie B?s mild. Both the sides were alright, the star of the show was definitely the hot chicken. I alsogot a Chess Pie slice to go, it was solid but it was my first time having Chess Pie so nothing to compare to. I would rank PartyFowl and Hattie B?s over Prince?s tho. Read more

Prince?s never disappoints. Friendly staff - out of this WORLD food. I like spicy, but let?s be honest - too hot is just pain... and less flavor. My choice is always medium at Prince?s. Which is like jalapeño heat. Nose running - tons of flavor. Read more

For my first time in Nashville, I wanted to try the most authentic Nashville Hot chicken I could find. After reading many... reviews, I finally decided to try the original! I'm glad to say that it did not disappoint! The staff was kind and helpful, andrecommend that I try half hot and half medium on my tenders. In hindsight, I was glad that I didn't get all hot. While I enjoyedthem, the medium was the way to go! When I arrived at 11:30 AM on a Saturday, there wasn't really any line to speak of, and Ihad my food in less than 5 mins. The fries were well seasoned, crinkle cut, and had a nice flavor to them. The Mac and cheesewas slightly underwhelming, but it helped cut the heat a little. Personally, I enjoyed the bites with the pickle slices on top.Something about the sour juice of the pickles mixed with the spices of the chicken, just really made the flavor pop! If it'syour first time in Nashville, and you want to try the original hot chicken place, you can't go wrong here! Read more

We are traveling in Nashville and decided to try this location since it is the original Nashville hot chicken. The chicken... sandwich was great, but the size is a lot smaller than expected (a little bigger than a chicken little at KFC). The friedchicken tastes great, the medium heat is spicy enough for me. Overall it was a great dinner. Downside: it was chilly at nightand the heater wasn't on. It feels like 60 degrees in the restaurant and no way that was a comfortable temp for dining. Read more

The original Nashville hot chicken. I mean, when in Rome... I felt like it's a must. Clean location with lots of seating, nice... staff and they do a ton of take out orders. Chicken was juicy and flavorful. Unlike knockoffs around the country, they havelevels from extra mild through xxx hot. They told me mild was hot at other places but medium wasn't bad for me, I wasn'tsweating. If you like hot, go hot. Blue cheese was not needed, the oils, spices and salty flavors were great on their own. Eatthe bread on the bottom for real flavor. Read more

I love Prince?s Hot Chicken! It?s the original hot chicken of Nashville. When you travel the country and see the Nashville Hot... Chicken Sandwich on the menu, this is the flavor they are attempting. Hattie B?s is good but I prefer the flavor at Prince?s.What I don?t like is the price for the sides and the amount you get. The portions for sides is horrible here. The sides do tastegood though. Wanting to get multiple sides is what will drive your price up for purchase. I like the fries here to. Over theyears I have seen the wait for my food get better. The wait is usually longer in the night time and on Saturday nights. There isa location in downtown Nashville that tastes exactly the same but with a smaller menu. The customer service here has improvedas well. I have seen some of the workers there for years which speaks volumes. The ladies always have their hair done and nailson point which means they get paid well to look great! You can catch the owner in the evenings sitting down chatting withfamily and guest. It?s a tradition. I hate the location in North Nashville burned down. I?m glad the new location exists though. With Prince?s chicken, it?s not about multiple locations to expand like Hattie B?s; it?s about taste and the authenticexperience. I look forward to being able to give this place 5 stars in the future. Remember, they are closed on Sundays! Thedesserts where so good at the North Nashville location but doesn?t taste the same at this location. I stopped getting them. Iwill drive a long distance to get this chicken. I don?t live in Nashville anymore but will always cherish this spot. Going tocollege in Nashville, this is a good spot I heard about constantly when I first arrived. I have had many moments here withcollege friends throughout the years. I will always remember them. Read more

Prince's may claim to be the original, and who knows, but they're not resting on their laurels. Staff was eager to help, sample,... etc. Kitchen is cooking to order, so expect a wait, but it is WELL WORTH THE WAIT. Son ordered half a chicken, daughter thechicken strips, spouse and I had sandwiches (Andre). I swear, even without the breading and hot spices, the chicken itself ispossibly one of my top 10 favorite. It's so juicy and flavorful! Inside looked fun and all, but we chose nice weather and anover-packed parking lot out on the patio. Strong recommendation. Read more

By far their best location. The original Nashville hot chicken place has the best flavored chicken in my opinion. What I like... about their heat levels is that they are actually mild, medium, hot and beyond instead of being all ridiculously hot regardlessof what is called. I love the heat but every once in a while medium is nice. Great sides and I've always had great service. Read more
