We were in town for a conference and our Uber driver suggested Paula Dean's. We walked in and had about a 15 min wait (which... gave us time to stroll through the gift store). Once seated the waitress explained the menu to us. We selected the $25/personoption which gave us two main courses and 4 sides. I picked Meatloaf, mac & cheese and salad while my co-worker chose ribs, green beans and I forget what else. The deal was that you cannot take anything home, but if you run out while at the table, theywill bring you more! I also had a delicious peach tea! Dessert was also included and it was amazing. But quite possibly thestar of the dinner was the buttery garlic bread before the food arrived! Loved this place! Read more

The fried catfish was probably the best I have ever had! Perfectly battered. The meatloaf(normally fixed with bread crumbs) had... pieces of bread in it but was pretty good. The broccoli & cheese could have been alittle warmer but overall very good. The slawand creamed potatoes was good and the black eyed peas looked different than what I'm use to but they were really good. Thecheddar garlic biscuits were good but not a big garlic fan. You also get dessert...which that you can take home. For $25 all youcan eat & drink with dessert...you can not go wrong!! Would definitely go back again!???? My suggestion is go starving becauseyou will come out stuffed! Read more

The food was not the best that I?ve eaten, I ordered the chicken and it wasn?t seasoned very well, I mean if you say it?s the... best fried chicken then you should deliver it? the breast were dry , the broccoli &cheese wasn?t creamy or cheesy nor was itgood. The mac&cheese was dry and we were looking for the cheese. Now on the good side the black eye peas , collard greens andcheese biscuits were delicious!! The decor is tasteful and the wait staff was very attentive but I would give this restaurantexperience food wise a one star. Read more

I guess the four of us fell through the cracks. Everybody is raving about the food and the service but for us it was terrible.... We waited an hour and a half just to be seated. We were told it would only be a 20 minute wait and I had the text to prove it.Somehow my name got removed from the wait list. Then we ordered four ice teas unsweetened and it took us three tries before wegot for unsweetened iced teas. The food is loaded with sugar. The waiting time was productive for them because I spent $100 inthe gift shop. I would definitely give that five stars. I hope your visit is better than ours was. Read more

Y?all this restaurant was a bucket list item. So happy I made it. The food was yummy. My favorite food was definitely their... Fried Chicken. It was so good. I even bought a few souvenirs to take back home. I will say I did not care to much for their potroast. However their sides were yummy. Read more

A++ Everything We ate was amazing!!! All you can eat was a surprise for us! We did the Georgia which was 4 meats and 4 sides for... my wife and I, and we were warned it was a lot of food and won?t be able to finish it all and that was the truth! But we tried! No take outs, but the included desert is allowed to take away. Ask to be seated in the back by the windows that look at thewater. The feeling inside the restaurant was very cozy and inviting. Super attention to detail with decorations, and walltreatments. This is a great place for a memory meal with someone special. Even our super fresh lemonade, and the peach tea with2 slices of peach were bottomless? *Military Discount for food and in the great little store with so many cool little items. Read more

After plunking down too much money for overpriced under portions of downtown Nashville food, I headed out to Paula Deens at Opry... Mills. From being greeted by an incredible friendly hostess and awesome waitress (Madison) service, my customer experiencestarted out right. But the food...wow, it was just like being back home in Savannah, GA...Totally filling and even moredelicious. This should be the first restaurant that you eat at and the value for the money is unmatched. I also appreciate thepeach cobbler to go. Thankfully, I now have the next 3 days to walk it off...Ha ha! Absolutely wonderful. The service was exceptional and I love the family style meals! All you can eat for less than 25 bucks! And... dessert included, the only thing left to say is how well prepared and delicious the food was! Fried chicken has a true southernbatter. The greens boasted with flavor. Fried catfish was perfectly seasoned and fried. Definitely gonna go back again. Read more
