We were hungry when we arrived so we stopped in to Ole Red at the airport. There were plenty of tables available so we were... seated right away. The service was not good - took our order, brought the food - didn't see anyone again until it was time toget the check. Food was not great either. Salad looked like it was something you could buy at the grocery store for $5 and thebrisket sandwich needed more sauce and pickles (there were pickles, but they were under the fries -- server probably would havetold me that if she had ever come back). I was here for an hour of the layover. The music attracted me to pay a visit for a quick drink and enjoy a life of country... music. Very nice atmosphere and music was just perfect for a drink to relax before catching my next flight ?? Read more
We were excited about listening to some music, having some drinks, and some appetizers?.Two out of three ok, but appetizing were... so horrible and not edible. And not just our table?other customers that ordered the same fried pickles/green tomatoes and cutfries did not eat theirs either. We watched other customers make funny faces when eating their appetizers. The batter/coatingwas like someone dropped a ton of salt and over cooked. We mentioned to our server how bad the appetizers were and it was noreflection on her, but we still got charged. Same for the table next to us, they said something too. The pulled pork sandwich was very good and the tater tots were great. I wasn't expecting live music in the middle of the day at... the airport so that was great. The banana pudding was great and it was nice to have a full bar while waiting for my flight.Definitely recommend! Read more
We were seated pretty quickly and the live music was nice. The atmosphere was good, not too crowded. The food was much smaller... portions then we expected for the prices. Quality was average, but decent for an airport. $10 for a biscuit sandwich with ascrambled egg and bacon, supposed to have cheese, but didn't. When I asked about it, the server said it was just mixed in. The"giant" breakfast burrito wasn't giant but tasted pretty good. No coke products, only Pepsi, which was a disappointment. Andit's $5 for a soft drink. Overall, we were glad for a place to sit down and eat during our long morning layover and the livemusic was a nice change of pace from airport chaos. Read more
Went in for the breakfast at 630 am. The restaurant was nearly empty. The lady asked us to wait wait while she cleaned some... tables. There were countless tables cleaned and ready. The lady appeared to not be happy at our presence and when she went toclean the table she spilled a drink on herself. I knew then we should dine elsewhere. I was hoping it was good considering we'refans of Blake, however maybe better next time. See pic of empty tables. Read more
We had a 4 hour layover in the Nashville airport and stopped in at Ole Red for a drink. It was crazy busy and short staffed but... Crystal greeted us with a smile immediately and gave us exceptional service! What a breath of fresh air to be waited on by sucha wonderful, experienced professional! We sat at a self service area where you had to go to the bar for service. Nice atmosphere with live music. Plenty of seating... when it?s not busy. It was packed when we arrived. Drinks are pricey, not worth it!! The fried pickle/tomato app was horrible,mainly all breading in basket and the few tomato slices were stuck together so not crispy but mushy.
