Love the sushi and friendly staff. Best hibachi entertainment in the area. And lots of alcohol/sake selection. Their house-made... yum yum sauce and salad dressing is so good Read more

I ordered my usual soup from my neighborhood restaurant for lunch as a Togo order. Got there and my order was not ready. It... was after lunch rush hour. 15 minutes later my order is ready. Why did I bother to call in ahead. Take it home and poured thesoup into a bowl and tasted the broth. No flavor or seasoning. No mixed vegetables and certainly no mixed seafood. One loneshrimp. I called and asked for my money back. They told me I had to bring it back so I take it back. The host goes to theback to discuss the issues with the chef and manager. Tone deaf! I was hungry when I went to pick up my lunch. An hour later,I am hangry. I asked someone to get the host back. They need to resolve their internal problems not at my expense. I havealready wasted an hour of my time I asked for a receipt and they said they don?t print credit receipts. I lost it. Then sheproduces a credit receipt. They should have told me that my soup was sold out. To have given me the tofu water as soup is justembarrassing and arrogant. Do they really think we are that stupid and won?t notice everything in the soup is missing? Itdemonstrates the state of that business. I will never go there again. When you start cutting key ingredients in the dishes youadvertise, what happens to food safety? Read more

Great place to eat with family or friends. Make appointments in advance to eat hibachi. Food is good. Just in case you don't... know, they charge you for their service but is not bad. Read more

Worst food ever! I eat at a lot of Hibachi restaurants and this is the worst I?ve ever had. If you like food with no flavor then... this is for you. Chicken was like eating chicken with no flavor and then the shrimp was like chewing on rubber. Hardly anyseasoning use, so little you can?t taste it. Rice taste like it just came out of the pot and thrown on my plate. After 4 cups ofyum yum I still couldn?t manage to choke it down. No wonder they charge every bill 18% service charge, because probably no onetips good because the food is horrible. Save yourself, do not eat here is you are a person who likes flavor with your Hibachi. Read more

I had a quick lunch break before meeting up with my client so I grabbed this Sushi place across the street. Sushi tasted great.... I had a rainbow roll and Tuna sashimi for starters. Wish the menu was more of the raw rolls than cream cheese and deep friedfish. Read more

TIL that there is a difference between a professional chef and a professional hibachi chef. Both make good food, but the latter... can entertain as well. It wasn't very busy when I got there around 5:30pm on a Sunday, and I asked to be seated at the hibachigrill. I noticed that there was still a wait to fill up the seats around the grill. While I waited, I ordered a "Japanese hotgreen tea" for $2.75, and it came with a little ceramic cup + tea pot (I suspect it was matcha; I liked it). I was also broughta complementary bowl of soup (possibly miso, or maybe a mushroom soup broth). Once all the seats around the grill were full andeveryone had made their order (from a "hibachi" page in the back of the menu; I ordered the salmon for $19.95), the chef cameout with a cart that had all the raw ingredients on it. He started by making an impressive (for me, at least; first time seeingit) display of his spatula and fork skills, flaring up something (possibly sake; it burned like alcohol, and I suspect the flamehad a caramelizing effect, but I don't know for certain; it was hot and entertaining though (FIRE!)), and started the rice. Iopted for the "spicy" fried rice, same with everyone else at the table (in the sense of "had spices"; contrast the Indianculinary sense where "spicy" = "raging inferno", which this rice was not). It was excellent, flavorful, had a hint of what mylimited culinary vocabulary can only describe as "Mongolian grill-esque", and there was a lot of it. By the time I was done, Ididn't have to wait long for a couple small shrimp that came complementary, and after that was the stir fry vegetables, and mysalmon followed shortly after that. All very good food, and I left full. An 18% mandatory tip is automatically included whenseated at the hibachi grills (not mandatory at other tables), but I thought he deserved more, so I added a bit extra on top allthat. After taxes and tips my total for a single dinner was $30. Expensive, yes, but I'm on travel, Read more
