I've been dining here longer than most who have lived in Nashville! I'll make the drive from Smyrna when I want Japanese... hibachi. They could use an update to the furniture in the waiting area, but I also like knowing it's going to be as Iremember. Drinks are strong, food is delicious and, depending on your cook, you will have an amazing experience! Our cooktonight could have used a little more personality. Didn't acknowledge that I mentioned my daughter having a birthday, didn't dothe "onion volcano" and didn't try several of the other tricks other cooks have done in the past. Our table was more amused bythe cook in the area behind us. Had he done more, I'd give 5 stars! Read more

This place was great. Me and my daughter went today as soom as they opened at 5. The service was friendly and nice. My daughter... who is 7 - avoids vegetables, but she ate them today with out me asking. I got the lobster, steak, filet, shrimp, and scallops.My daughter got the steak and scallops. The steakhouse Chef was amazing. He was very friendly, funny, and his food was delicous.Definitely reccomend. The only thing I would nit pick about waa that the coke was hot. They served it with ice though so it waaallright. Overall great experience and my daughter had an amazing time. Read more
Great place to take your family especially if you have kids. Food is always amazing and the chefs always make it entertaining... with the onion Volcano, saying funny things, flipping rice shrimp etc into peoples mouth. It's worth every penny and I have beengoing for many years and will always go back????????. And if you leave there hungry that is your own fault there is so much toeat. Read more
Everything was great except for the wait. We went on a Sunday at 5:30 PM. We waited a really long time to be seated in the... lounge about an hour and also about 25 minutes at the table before water, soup, and salad was brought out then about 10 minutesafter that for the chef. The bartender was fantastic and the drinks are STRONG we were both extremely tipsy after 2 drinks,highly recommend the Mikado special and blue Hawaiian as a cocktail. The chef wasn?t too entertaining but got the job done. Thefood was really good and huge portions - multiple days of leftovers. I enjoyed all the flavors. I preferred the chicken over thesteak - the steak was quite chewy. The ?MP? prices on the menu are $59 and $69. Read more
Was very disappointed in the taste of the food. I was also annoyed that I got more vegetables that were a side than anything... else. All the meat/seafood tasted the same which defeated the purpose of getting three different types. Read more
My daughter and I ate here before she dropped me at my hotel. Food was good. Chef was very personable. Wait staff very... attentive. A little pricey but we enjoyed our dinner. Read more
