I was on a business trip with a coworker he has been here before and said it was good, boy was he right. We Walked in to a... packed uniquely decorated smoked meat restaurant posters of hulk Hogan, classic rock stars, license plates. Classic rock songsplaying like Beatles, The Band, and Steely Dan. The line went quick and the staff was friendly, and recommended me the bigbrother sampler with ribs and brisket about 30 dollars. After ordering and payed we were given a number sign for the waiters tofind us. We could choose to sit anywhere. We choose to sit outside their was a giant connect four set. You can see the smokecoming out of the screened in Pit House where they smoke there meats. As we sat talking our food came out, 4 big spare ribs, agenerous helping of brisket, baked beans, and broccoli salad that Rivals my Grandma's broccoli salad. Don't tell Grams that. Idefinitely would recommend this restaurant. The food is delicous. I will be back next time I am in Tennessee. Read more
The brisket was very tender, but lacked any smoke flavor. The Whole Hog was sadly dry and also very little smoke flavor. The... baked beans and Broccoli salad were VERY sweet. There are nuts in the broccoli salad so allergic people steer clear if you havea nut allergy. Macaroni and cheese was ok. I have seen Martin's on many different TV shows so I have to admit for what I paid Iwasn't blown away. Maybe it was just this location. The Service staff was exceptionally nice. Read more
Very best restaurant in Nashville. The food delicious, the staff just very nice and friendly.. especially James, he?s the nicest... guy you?ll meet. Martins BBQ on Elliston is THE PLACE! I was in town for a meeting and this place was recommended to me by a local. I was also... told to get their Brisket Burger, Oh my goodness! The place and the burger did NOT disappoint - so GOOD! The service, theatmosphere , the wait time and the food were all fabulous. I highly recommend it if you're in the area. Read more
Brisket was tender, and delicious. Absolutely incredible. Don?t count out the fried Bologna sandwich though. Smoked and cut... super thick. Mac&cheese and fries were also pretty great! Everyone was super nice and helpful. Read more
I ordered curbside and had to call in after confirming on the email that I was already outside.. and I waited about 15 minutes... after my pickup time? food was barley warm.. I ordered the brisket burger which is almost $4 more than the regular burger (onlydifference i seen on the menu was THE BRISKET) I didn?t realize I?d be paying for one thin slice. Not sure that?s how thepicture on the menu looked but I uploaded what they brought out to me.taste was good but presentation and price is a no!! A good variety of BBQ and sides at a moderate price. Nice open atmosphere that is good for small groups and families. I had... brisket tacos which were good but a little bit small for the price. The homemade chips however are highly addictive. This is ago through the line and order with more of a sit down restaurant feel. Love this place. Really amazing vibe. They had good music and the big windows were open at night. My favorite part of the meal... was the sides. Almost all of the sides incorporate some sort of bacon or meat. Potato salad was great as was broccoli salad. Thebarbecue was good, but what I left thinking about was that sides. Definitely recommend eating here and hope to come back. Read more
