The hotel that this restaurant is in was beautiful and had tons of character. However the restaurant is in the basement and over... just had a very dark vibe. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived. There were 2 people at the bar and 4 other tables full.Our food took 1hr to arrive. Our waiter stated she forgot to put our order in. While if it was busy I could be understanding butthe restaurant was not. We also waited 30 mins to get our checks after asking for them. I’m not sure how this place is in business. The meal did not start off well since we had a reservation for 10 but they... couldn’t seat us at the same table. Then, the service and food were incredibly slow. Over 30 minutes to get a drink from thebar and longer to get appetizers and dinner. The decor of the place looked amazing. The table was sticky to a point I used my napkin to cover my area. The waitress did not... notice. Service was okay. The chicken was great. Stopped in for brunch and had the delicious and spicy breakfast tacos. I recommend corn tortillas. Local coffee was on point.... Can you guess who the silhouettes are on the wall? Hint: they aren't local artists ;-) Read more

I stayed at Noelle and part of our package included a complimentary breakfast here. I was excited to try it but found dining... here a bit disappointing. I had 3 breakfasts here and each time I had a different waiter and none of them were friendly or hadgreat service. I’ve tried the hot chicken sandwich and the chicken was way too salty, chicken and waffles, painters plate andthe kale Cesar salad with shrimp. The food was very average and the best thing I ate there was the fries, the fries were verygood. If it weren’t for the complimentary breakfast I don’t think I would’ve ate there again. Read more

Everything we ordered was excellent! Our server was so nice and knowledgeable of the menu. Definitely order the Brussels... sprouts and tomato pie. I loved the L&L burger. The food and cocktails are all amazing and we can’t wait to return! Read more

Wowzers, do you like burgers? I know I do! I've been to some good burger joints but I gotta say, this place takes the CAKE. I... can't speak on breakfast nor lunch but the dinner was great. I thoroughly enjoyed my burger. It was a little pricey but itseemed to be okay, about $18, plus tax. If you want to save a bit of money, go in for happy hour, which is from 3-6 p.m. Youwill be either sitting at the bar or at the high chairs. You can order the same burger and fries for $5, plus tax. There isliteral difference between the $5 and the $18 burger. I asked my friend and he said they tasted the same. Take this knowledgeand do with it what you will. What an amazing place! The food is delicious (especially breakfast) I finished the plates so fast I didn’t get a chance to get... pictures of everything. What sets this place apart though is the exceptional service you receive. Over the course of one week, Ihad a chance to try breakfast, lunch and dinner and interact with different employees and they all superseded my expectations.Jeane, Hattie, and Bev were such friendly hosts and remembered me when I came back which made me feel special. ?? For breakfastI was served by Kenneth who is a pure ball of energy and perfect for the mornings when you need a small pick me up and smile.Thenext day was Key who realized I was under the weather and helped recommend how to combat Nashville’s extreme allergies. Fordinner I was lead in the right direction by London who recommended the Schnitzel and it was so tasty! Even the bartenders at theTradeRoom bar were friendly. Dennis was so inviting and made a solo traveler feel at home. Justin on the other hand, makes greatrecommendations and it was there that I tried the L&L burger (a must try). On the last day I had a chance to meet the managerErin and I now see why the team there is so gracious - they follow after their leader. I couldn’t say more great things aboutthis place.
