Super convenient when staying at The Renaissance Downtown! Food was great, service was okay.

Waitress knew nothing about the food, which was confusing at best. Kentucky filet was tough, undercooked, demi glaze was... overwhelming. We thought about getting the pork belly with Mac and cheese but waitress couldn't even explain the very confusingdescription. We were a group of 7 and no one was happy. Even the ketchup was awful. The plate they served the tilefish on wasshaped so that every time you got a bite the food slide off all over you. Crazy. We are well educated diners but we were allscratching our heads, so to speak. Very cool atmosphere, surprisingly for a hotel restaurant. Great cocktails and friendly service. Had a burger that was cooked... really well when MR requested. Would be a good happy hour spot too. Will definitely return. Read more

My wife had a very good margarita and I had a double Woodford on the rocks. Service was good given that it was after 11pm and... the chairs in the lounge felt great after 2.5 hours at the Bridgestone Center. The $70 price for two drinks was a bit steepeven for a downtown hotel. Read more

Dinner with my family at this place was EPIC! The Nashville Salad, the chicken soup with pasta, the chicken strip with fries,... the Bourbon wings, the corn bread, and the salt Carmel ice cream was all too DELICIOUS! The balanced of flavors was justphenomenal not only in the hot meals but also the cold ones. Taking care of our orders was Jess, Marie, and Driton providedinformation of the area. All of them were great! Definitely recommend this place. Read more

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The Brussel sprouts were caramelized and cooked perfectly (still crunchy, but slightly... soft around the edges). One order was enough for my dinner (caveat being in a small person). Highly recommend! Read more

We had made a reservation since it was Saturday night but literally there were two tables eating. We had to wait at least 5 mins... before our server even came to our table. We started with the drop biscuits cause the server said they were her favorite. Thewere very dry and the cherry chutney was just weird. I had the prime rib sandwich and side of waffle fries. My only complaintabout the sandwich was that the bun was very soggy they definitely need a harder bread. My BF ordered the pasta au gratin withNashville hot chicken crumble. This dish was terrible, no flavor except for the spicy bread crumbs on top. Needless to say Ihad to speak to a manager to have her take his dish off of our bill since he only took 3 bites of a $16 dish. Way over pricedand sub-par food we won't be going back. We now know why you don't need a reservation. Read more

I stopped in here for some dinner after being in the city for a conference. The food came out pretty quickly and the service was... very friendly. I got the crab stuffed trout which didn't really come with sides, and for the price I expected some. However itwas really delicious and the sauce it was in was great. Read more
