Came here on a Saturday night to a packed dining hall with a line of people waiting to be seated even with reservations. Taking... a star out just for poor reservation management. You can\'t allow diners to book tables you can\'t guarantee. It\'sdisrespectful.\n\nAfter being seated 35 minutes late, everything else went pretty good. The antipasto for 2 was a generous size, although the cured meats weren\'t as good as I expected them to be.\n\nThe pastas we ordered were very good. The bucatini wasdelicious but I would\'ve definitely liked more octopus in it. The lamb ragu was great.\n\nIn terms of pizzas, I enjoyed the\'cowboy\'. The salsiccia e funghi had good flavors but the toppings made the pizza soggy and wet that it couldn\'t hold.Overall, the pasta dough was good. Also enjoyed a Panna Cotta after the meal.\n\nFair warning, parking here can be tricky. Notmany spots available especially on busy weekends, good luck. Read more

Run, don’t walk! Get to IL Forno! Easily one of the best pizza restaurants in the Southeast. The Chef & owner Egi is blasting... out real deal Neapolitan wood fired pizza. The Diavola is a personal fav but you really can’t go wrong with any pie. And TheCowboy is a must if you like Gorgonzola. Don’t miss out on the Beef Filet Carpaccio and the Antipasto as well as the Rigatoniwith cream and black truffle sausage. Everything is delicious. Bellissimo! Read more

It\'s a new Italian place in downtown Nashville. They use purely Italian ingredients with flavors that are not so familiar to... some palates. The atmosphere is pleasant. The attention in my experience was excellent. They had live music. The prices arecompetitive with other restaurants. It depends on how much you order. Read more

We made a reservation over two weeks ago for a Friday night at 7. Yes, I totally understand that it is a busy time but when we... arrived a line of people were waiting as there was no hostess in site. We waited around 30 minuets for our table once we spoketo the hostess even with a reservation. The main complaint is the service. It is poor. It took way to long for the bar to bringout drinks, water was never refilled. As for the food it was just bland. If you go I 100% recommend the fresella as it wasreally the only good thing. All 4 pizzas we ordered were bland, and the tiramisu was not as good as I would have hoped. All inall for $260(for\n4 people) I was hoping for better! Read more

Unfortunately this restaurant missed the mark in what I was hoping to be a really good experience. There were some highs and... lows in the experience.\n\nTo start, parking is not great here. Parking spots are extremely limited, and you’re likely to beeither parking on the sides of a road or further away and walking up a steep hill to get here.\n\nThe atmosphere was nice albeita little weird to be “below ground” in a sense. The windows up top show you people walking which is a little weird forambience when eating.\n\nWe started with their focaccia appetizer. This was easily the best item of the night. The bread wasthick yet super soft and delicate. It had oregano all on top, and bottles of olive oil and chili infused olive oil wereprovided. The chili oil is definitely the one to use!\n\nWe then got the octopus ragu pasta. At first, this tasted extremelyfishy. But it started growing on us as we ate it and soon became our second favorite dish 3.5/5). The noodles were prettyundercooked and not al dente as we would have liked.\n\nWe went with the prosciutto e funghi and the bella pizzas. The bella wasdecent and the goat cheese was sweet and interesting. Unfortunately the prosciutto pizza was a mess. It was so watery that theslices didn’t even hold together. The toppings just slid right off the pizza as you try to take a slice. The prosciuttodefinitely weren’t as high quality as I would like and was scarcely placed on our pizza. This was easily the least favoriteitem of the night. Additionally, there is so much crust on these pizzas. Even Italian pizzas have ingredients that cover a widerarray of pies and a little less crust (or at least more flavorful).\n\nAt this point, staff came to us and made us switch tableswhich was incredibly unprofessional for an establishment. We had to move and then order desserts.\nWe ended with a tiramisu andpanna cotta dessert. Neither were memorable and tasted like your standard desserts.\n\nOverall a disappointing dinner that s Read more

This place is spectacular, the food with fresh ingredients. The wood oven gives an exceptional flavor to their pizzas. Without... a doubt, a perfect place to eat authentic Italian food. Very friendly owner and great staff. I will definitely return on mynext visit to Nashville. Read more

Enjoyed our dinner experience for their grand opening. It’s a beautiful space with a great mural inside. Also plenty of free... parking outside. We didn’t know we needed a reservation, but luckily still got seated right away. Lovely Italian wineselection. Absolutely loved our appetizer. The pizzas were good, though I personally like mine to be crispier. My friend thoughtthere was too much arugula on hers, but overall liked them. I wish we had room for dessert because they looked amazing! Read more
