This a must visit spot when you visit Nashville. Ordered the chicken sandwich (of course) w/ medium heat , it was love at first... bite. Seasoned to perfection and every bite gets better. While visiting Nashville, we decided to stop and try Nashville's famous hot chicken - They did NOT disappoint! We visited around... Noon on a Sunday and while they were busy, we were able to find seating and the wait wasn't bad. They told us that some days theline is down the street so get there early. The food was amazing! Only one of us was brave enough to try their "Shut the CluckUp" spicy level - he definitely Shut Up, it was so hot. Phenomenal hot chicken spot that lives up to the hype. The chicken was perfect cooked and very flavorful. Got the sandwich and... tenders. Personally preferred the tenders but the bread and slaw on the sandwich was great as well. Their signature sauceperfectly accompanies the flavor of the chicken and their sides. Grits, Mac and cheese, and fries were all great as well.Overall an awesome spot for fried chicken regardless of the fact that it's a chain. Definitely revisiting on my next trip toNashville. One of the best fried I have ever had. I was attending a convention in Nashville when I stumbled upon Hattie B?s. According to... some of the articles I have ready this is a must eat. We didn?t realize that this is a very popular place. This is near downtownand so parking in the surrounding area isn?t easy so I figured when we get to the restaurant we will be seated soon. When we gotthere the line was long and we were told the wait is about 1.5 hrs. Yes and people in-front of us was there for about an hour.Our curiosity made us stay and wait for that long. I have to say it was one of the best fried chicken I?ve ever had. It wasspicy, crispy in the outside melts in your mouth juicy fried chicken. All the sides are so good! No wonder people line up forthis place. We see people doing takeouts all throughout so perhaps if you?re in town and don?t want to line up do the orderingahead and pick up your food. The best hot chicken I had in Nashville! I went with the hot for my meal and one of my friends ordered the spiciest on a wing... that we split. The hot was a great mix of sweet, spice, and flavor. We got there right when it opened and there was already a line outside. Tried the mild, medium, and hottest levels. Chicken was... good in general but unfortunately the hottest level was only spicy and lacked other flavors. Had to add salt. Loved the Mac ncheese sides, they really don't skimp on the amount of the sides they give! The sweet tea was pure sugar and syrup, definitelymix it with the unsweetened tea before drinking. Read more
