Oh my heavens!! I never leave reviews but this was so good and the service was outstanding I have to share!! The owner is the... sweetest man. I was his last guest of the evening. Everything was gone so he fixed me up this combination plate. The food didnot disappoint and there is enough for lunch tomorrow!! Great price-food-service. This place closes at 7! The owner said to behere by 630 at the latest if you want food. I would say stop in way before 630 or better go for lunch so you don?t miss out. Read more
Came here for a quick lunch before an appointment across the street. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. Got the... lentil soup and a side of hummus. Being gluten-free I asked for more cucumber instead of pita and it was no problem. I even hadhummus to bring home. Read more
No kidding, I love this place! During my travels I like to check out eateries that I've heard of to see if they live up to the... hype. Everything from fine dining to drive through. Well, Fattoush does not disappoint. I was walking past someone eating theirgyro for lunch and struck up a conversation about how good it smelled. There began the love affair between Fattoush and I. Itwas busy during our first encounter and I soon discovered that it was worth the wait. The young man and beautiful young ladyamazingly exchanged words with customers and pleasantries with customers as they worked. I later realized that they were theowners and this spot was featured on "Diners, Drive-ins & Dives". They humored me with a photo for my food diary. You simplymust stop by! Maybe I'll see you there. What a great place. We came because we saw it on Triple D?s and it did not disappoint. The food was bomb we had the sample plate... which allowed us to sample a little of everything, and the portions were a lot!! Hummus and falafel were delicious as were thethe beef and chicken shawarma. We also had the baklava which was just delicious. We decided to go after seeing this place on Triple D. I had high hopes for the food after the show and seeing the reviews.... Unfortunately it didn?t measure up. We are big fans of middle eastern and Mediterranean food. When we arrived the owner wasworking by himself to serve everyone. The food was not at appropriate temperatures, all the meats were cold. They were flavorfulbut very cold. The soup was the same good flavor but cold. What bothered me most about that was that it?s unsafe to hold food atthat temp and the owner knew the temperature was wrong because he was putting everything in the microwave. The falafel lookedso delicious and green and herbaceous on the show?but it was hard and brown when we ordered it today. The hummus was WAY tooheavy on tahini and was inedible and bitter. I hope that it?s just a staffing issue because I can see there is potential fordelicious food here but it just wasn?t executed well today. Not 40 dollars well spent for us. Read more
OMG..., AMAZING!!! We missed out on the lentil soup the first day (sold out) so had to come back today for it. It was AMAZING!... The falafels were some of the best we've had and the dolmathes were out of this world! But..., the customer experience from theowners and the actual in dining experience was the best! I would have taken a pic of the chicken swarma Jacob had but it wasgone before I had the chance to take a pic ???? This is a must stop anytime we're in Nashville!!! Came back for carrot cake this morning and it's the best carrot cake I've ever had perfect sized walnuts and carrots and a... flavors are all there. See picture, My taste buds are ever so happy. Off the bone lamb shanks with onion and cucumber sauce andchocolate cake for dessert. Cake was alright. The lamb was cooked excellently with nice delicious edges.
