The food is amazing. They might have literally the best steak in Nashville, and trust me I have been to some nice spots. The... crab cake is definitely worth getting. I enjoyed the lobster mash potatoes and crab fried rice. Lobster tail, Lobster tacos, andtruffle mac & cheese were just okay. The banana foster dessert can stay in the kitchen. Visited on Sunday evening. We were greeted and seated promptly with smiles from a friendly staff. The ambiance is nice allowing... us to have a very romantic dining experience. The main dining room filled with live jazz at a level that allowed for ease ofconversation throughout dinner. The food and presentation was excellent. I will return. Parking garage is adjacent to therestaurant entrance and they also offer valet parking on the corner of 5th and Broadway. Read more
This has quickly become our favorite "pre-evening" activities place to go to. I just wish it wasn't right next to the madhouse... that is Broadway. The happy hour specials here can not be beat by any other place in Nashville. While the cocktail prices arereasonable, the appetizers are ridiculously discounted - we usually just have several plates instead of an entree. They're justthat good. We had the seafood tower also, which isn't cheap, but certainly a good value considering the enormous amount of highquality seafood you're given. We had a pretty unique experience here. We had late reservations but popped in to see if we could be accommodated a few hours... ahead of time. The host informed that they were fully booked on reservations and our best bet would be to wait for openings atthe bar as they were full service but first come first serve. I’ll be honest, it was uncomfortable especially for a high endestablishment such as this. We stood off to the side as we watched people literally stalk and hover over people dining at thebar. This seemed to be the only way to get a seat and more than twice the seats we were going for were aggressively snatched bymore determined diners. Another lady who was waiting struck up a conversation with me after witnessing our intended seats takenand mentioned she didn’t have reservations but was offered the chance to put her name on the list. She then remarked that Iwould likely be called soon since I had been waiting far longer than her. It confused me since the host did not offer me theopportunity to be added to the list. Within a few minutes she was called to a table and kindly invited my boyfriend and I tojoin her husband and herself. I honestly don’t know how much longer I would’ve waited at the bar but it was disappointingthat the host didn’t offer me the walk-in option. The dinner itself was enjoyable, the server was kind and knowledgeable, andconversation was great with our new friends. I understand the restaurant location is prime and they’ll never run out ofbusiness but my experience makes me doubtful I’ll patronize Eddie V’s in the future. Read more
I just want to say My husband and I had a wonderful experience and the atmosphere just set the tone for our Valentine’s Dinner... for us . Our waiter was so amazing he knew his stuff . Ryan gave us the best appetizer and dinner option and when I say the bestever !!!!! We are still talking and sharing our experience with family & friends . Unbelievable ambiance!!! Soft jazz in the background and a tower of wine as the center piece of the staircase. This place was... beautifully designed. The staff was superb and the food was just amazing. No doubt I will be eating there again when I come backto Nashville. Read more
I must say that I enjoy dining experiences that provides excellent customer service and superb food quality. The restaurant has... exceeded my expectations. More importantly, I found out about Eddie V’s through my other favorite dining place, which ourfavorite Server, George, had left and came here. George is the greatest Server I had ever encountered in all of my years oftraveling around the world! He is a must see when you come to this restaurant. He will give you a fine dining experience. I took my wife and mother-in-law out for date night and had an awesome time. We sat at the bar for happy hour. Drinks and... appetizers were delicious. The Bartender was the best. She was very friendly and attentive. On to our table for dinner. Serverwas funny, knowledgeable and attentive. Lots of recommendations. All the food was delicious, except I ordered my filets mediumrare and they were burnt and well done. The rest of the food and desserts were delicious. Pricey needs perfection. Fell shortthis time.
