Went to watch the Tennessee Vols football game. It was not crowded because were either at the game or at home due you rain but... the service was still great. WOW! as someone visiting Nashville looking for a local and authentic experience - this is IT. Don't even think about going to... martins bbq or edly's - this is a MUST DO. We got the recommendation from our Uber driver and were not sure how it would compareto the other bbq restaurants bc it didn't have as many reviews but drifters did not disappoint. MUSIC: they have live musicevery night- the only place in Nashville that has daily music! And the band was one of the best we heard RIBS: after havingribs at drifter's, I know every rib experience I have from now on will be a downhill experience. These ribs were so tender thatI poked it and the meat fell off. Phenomenal! SAUCE: our waiter colt gave us a variety of sauces to try. They're all made inhouse and are incredible. SERVICE: Colt was our waiter and he gave us great recos for not only the food but also places inNashville to go to. He had the best hospitality and was one of the best waiters I've had in Nashville. He was genuinelyinterested in helping us get the best experience possible! For example, he was extra courteous when it came to getting us enoughwater and making sure the speaker volume wasn't too loud for us since we were sitting right in front of it. Great food, good live music and excellent beer selection. Has the cleanest bathrooms I've had the fortune of needing to use... during my visit. Parking was also free! Brisket was decent, the sauce the bomb. The mac and cheese however is some of thebest I've had in all of Nashville. Read more

Parking is tight, but there is street parking. Outdoor seating is nice. They had live music. Service was good and friendly. I... got the pulled chicken with Mac and cheese and hush puppies. The live music was a big draw, and you get a pretty good amount of food for the money. The servers were very friendly, but the... food quality was somewhat average. Also, there are no ribs on the menu...everything is shredded. My younger son enjoyed thefrozen lemonade and the hush puppies! Love the old Drifters pre-tornado, and glad to see they?ve reopened. Environment is great, prices are reasonable, and food is... pretty good. The bar service has always been great but since reopening the patio service leaves a lot to be desired. More thanonce our server disappeared and even the inside staff couldn?t find him. he failed to remember our faces and drink orders (for atable of 2) after waiting on us for several hours. Other tables got up and started ordering at the bar because he was nowhere tobe found?and this has happened probably 3 visits in a row. Everyone is very friendly. Bartenders talk to you.... the people that come in are friendly. Nashvillians are very friendly... people. Nashville is just plain friendly. I love this state in the union! Trump 200 keep making us Great Again! Read more
