I have been here many times before and we have never ever had this awful service. Christine, our waitress, was great but the... kitchen and management (Andrea?manager?) did not seem to be as organized. 3 of our 8 meals came out. 3 people ate and then 5 ofus waited 30 minutes until we got 2 more plates. Then another 10 minutes before the last 3 plates. The last 5 plates all hadmissing food. 2 plates of chicken tenders served with no fries. Bacon and sausage missing from 2 sampler plates and burnedFrench toast. I order French toast breakfast at Cracker Barrel every time I go there and it has never come out black. I was toldit wasn?t burned, the cinnamon makes it darker now? Anyway, we asked to speak to the manager because we had never seen such amess. We had to ask for her twice. We waited another 15 minutes just to speak to her. Was she avoiding us? We watched otherlarge tables and tables who came after us get their food in a more orderly manner. I?m not sure why our table was treated sopoorly. Also, we went for a late lunch on a Tuesday, when it wasn?t even that busy. Then the manager walked away again and whenshe came back again she was surprised that we had already paid. She was going to discount our check, but if that was the casewhy make us wait so long? You?d think being so close to their Lebanon home office you?d have a well run Cracker Barrel. It?s 9:30am on a Thursday morning,... the place is DEAD, and we?ve yet to be greeted in 15 minutes by staff.I get the server shortage but they aren?t even busy! On a recent trip to Nashville, TN my husband and I wanted to go out for breakfast. I figured since we were in Nashville my... husband and I would give Cracker Barrel a try. When we arrived there was a wait so my husband gave his name and phone number.After a while we received a text message that our table was ready. We got to our table and our order was taken. A table with 2Caucasian men that came in a few minutes after us received their food first. When our food came out shortly thereafter it wascold and my husband's eggs were like rubber which means it was sitting for a while. after seeing his I didn't even try my eggsI did try the pancakes which were cold. Our server paid more attention to her other tables, which were Caucasian customers. Myhusband counted her doing at least 3 rounds of checking on them before she even acknowledged us. When she finally came to us sheasked if we needed a box, not how was your meal or if we needed anything else. A very disappointing representation of CrackerBarrel. Read more
