Amazing food served fast and hot by an amazing staff. I saw this place while driving around and decided to try some Memphis... style bbq. The food was reasonably priced per pulled bbq plate ($12-$14) and ribs ($14 for half rack to $25 for full rack). Thestaff was kind and helpful asking if I was good throughout my meal. The pulled chicken and pork plate was amazing with the hotbbq sauce and vinegar sauce at the self serving bar. It had a great location and provided a great experience. Read more
We ordered from Central BBQ off of ubereats.I must say we were not disappointed!One of our favorite things are BBQ nachosAnd we... hadn't had any since where we lived before in Goodlettsville. With that being said, myself and my teenage son had been lookingfor some tasty bbq nachos in Nashville. We Found them today and they were still really goodBy the time they were deliveredOut bythe airport. He got the full order and i got half. Both with extra bbq pork and we also put baked beans on top. . (The bakedbeans were very very good????????????????) My teenager is 14, 6'5"330lb football player, he couldn't finish his fullorder....they make their own chips which makes the best nachos. Pork tender and flavorful. Definitely needs a little work. The walk-in area is built around boxes of items they use, like take out containers, so we found... that a little peculiar, but not a deal killer. That being said, my sausage was cold inside, the fries clearly had been sittingaround, the rolls tasted old and we thought the Cole slaw was bland. We are outta-towners just passing by and i saw this place on Doordash and the photos looked amazing so I ordered and guess what... IT LIVED UP TO MY BEST IMAGINATION! Sauce packets and fresh towels down to the portion and flavor all so wonderful! Bigportions, FLAVORS BURSTING. Carefully and cleanly packaged. Sauce packets are all included with variety. Dine-in there around 1:30 pm on a Sunday . Great location! Place looks brand new. We were hoping to watch the football game on... tv. There are no TVs in the place. I heard the employees in the back watching tv. I ordered the pork plate and half hot wings..the chicken was good! But the bbq tasted dry with not much flavor. The place was very clean, clean tables/floors. I wouldrecommend Edly?s over this place. I asked the employee at the counter what is good here, and she responded I haven?t had any ofthe food here. You DO Want This Smoke I?m biased as a Memphis native, but this remains my favorite spot for dry-rub ribs, or pulled pork with... a thing of soppin? bread, in town. Consistently high quality, fast and easy service, and carries the reputation of the originalspot seamlessly into Tennessee?s second city (heh). Pro tip: don?t sleep on their fried bologna.
