What a quaint gem in downtown Nashville. The cakes are so temptingly delicious, all beautifully displayed. The hazelnut torte we... had was moist and well-balanced. Staff and the owner were warm & welcoming. Lastly, the interior is reminiscent of Viennesecafés. Read more

We stop here to get espresso and dessert. Did not disappoint us, good coffee game in here and the selection of tortes/cakes... was amazing. We selected a 3 leches torte and it was delicious not overly sweet or wet. We will try this place for lunch sincelooks like their menu was extensive and we saw a very nice sandwich been prepared and we thought it might be good to go backand try it. Read more

So good we came back two days in a row lol cute dessert restaurant located downtown. Their desserts are displayed out front.... They do have a good menu as well. The mussels were cooked well and tasted amazing. The cakes are decadent but well worth it.Their bathroom had some learn Italian tapes playing which was kinda fun and funny. Read more

My fiancé and I visited back in September during a trip to Nashville for her birthday. Needless to say, this place has made an... incredible impression. We both work in the food industry and refer back to our experience here as one of the best we have everhad. The waiter was incredibly friendly and kind, and the chef was not only an expert of his craft. But he was overlyaccommodating to my milk allergy. He went out of his way to make the best fluffy scrambled eggs I’ve had in recentmemory. Anyone looking for a great place to eat, this is truly a special spot. Read more

Very good service. The place is beautiful and warm. Cappuccino was tasty but weak despite two espresso shots. Dessert was very... tasty. We ordered the peanut butter chocolate slice. Read more

A solid 4 stars out of five. I started the morning with a cuicciccino, ordered the "spicy seafood dip" which was actually a... seafood chowder and not thick enough to be called a "dip" which came with a pretty decent loaf of bread. I enjoy crab, shrimp, and scallops, so I also got the seafood crepe. After receiving the dip, I figured it wouldn't be a traditional crepe and wouldbe messy, and I was right. You could not hold the crepe in your hand and something is lacking from it, like an egg orsomething... I'm not sure what. I'm no crepe expert, but I can tell you something is very off. My wife got the lox pasta and itwas very good and appeasing. We finished with a Dutch hot chocolate and a cafe Cubano, respectively. I got the Dutch hotchocolate for the hazelnut, and it was much better than expected. An amazing chocolate masterpiece masked with way too muchcream. With that, we got a B-52 cheesecake and the Spice cake(cake of the day) which were both delicious and went togetherwell. For scenery, it is amazing. Atmosphere, they need to figure out temperature controls because everyone in the detached roomwas sweating. Food, could use better descriptions on the menus so that people get what they expect and don't have higherexpectations than the quality they get. Menus, should have paper copies printed and ready for people that prefer a physicalcopy. There are no hosts and the staff that do all of the work are working hard the entire time. Hire a host! Beyond the fewminor issues, this was an amazing experience to be had. I'll probably be back a few times for the cocoa, salmon, andcheesecakes. Read more

The cafe looks gorgeous- just like An European quaint coffeehouse. The bartender is great. Pretty informal and laid back vibe... inside. The coffee was terrific. However, the hot chocolate was very underwhelming. The chocolate ganache pastry was also veryunderwhelming. It was looking so rich, but didn’t taste like that. The chocolate quality was not too good. It was dry, notfresh and a bit more sweet. Overall the cafe could be the perfect spot for a date. Read more

We LOVED the authentic European experience here at Café Intermezzo. The dessert coffees, martinis and cakes were delicious. We... were able to sit and visit with our friends without feeling rushed. The booth in the back was very spacious and intimate. Themenus are all digital, which limits touch points. We will be back next time we’re in Nashville! Read more
