Ordered meat and three. Hash browns were undercooked, white and soggy. Sourdough toast was dry and without butter or any other... spread. Bathroom had cute sign saying ?man, woman, gorilla, whatever, just wash your hands? yet soap dispenser was broken andbathroom was very dirty. Menu is way overpriced for cheap breakfast foods. Suggested tip ranges from 20%-30% for a place whereyou place your order at the counter, bus your own dishes, and refill your own water cup. Read more

Wow... over priced and S L O W. Been waiting around an hour and still our order isn't ready. Waitress did stop by twice. Once to... say they were out of something then 20 minutes later to ask if we got our food yet. NOPE... DISAPPOINTED in wait and lack ofservice but coffee was good. Can't comment on food because we may leave before it gets here. Read more

One of my top 3 coffee shops in Nash. This one is right across the street from Belmont University, probably the prettiest campus... I have ever seen, and Bongos has that college hangout feel. Read more

Today was my last visit to Bongo. I?ve been coming here for 10 years and this place has dramatically increased prices (much more... than comparable with other restaurants? understandable inflation-responsive price increases) and seriously decreased itsquality. After having to repeat my simple order to the cashier, the point of sale system prompted me to tip 30%. THIRTY PERCENT.My $4 side of hash browns was way over spiced and oiled and amounted to about a quarter of a russet potato (imagine paying $0.60for a russet and then charging people $16 for that same potato and claiming the price increase is inflation and labor andspices. Like. YIKES BRO do you even economics?) Black coffee only arrived after having to go up to the counter again. Foodarrived without utensils or napkins. I?m more sad than mad. RIP to a formerly great Nashville institution. Read more

Absolutely one of my favorite spots! Love the vibes, love the coffee, and absolutely love the Staff! Dee, the manager, is the... kindest and made our visit so much fun! Highly recommend going. As a queer couple it is truly a blessing to see how this smallcafe is supportive of anyone and everyone. Definitely a place where you can feel safe and spark up a conversation with thelovely people working there. Read more

Coffee at local shops are generally too weak-bodied for me...NOT SO at Bongo! Excellent coffee, and good breakfast options. The... outdoor seating is well-shaded, and is nestled in a nice 'oasis' neighborhood just next to Belmont. Great spot! Read more

This fruit loops latte was UNREAL. I've never tasted something so magical. My breakfast sandwich was good; I ordered the egg... McBongo with bacon. It wasn't anything I couldn't make at home, but it was still good quality. I wish I had gotten another latteto go because it was so delicious. Read more

Perfect spot for coffee on the go or to sit down and enjoy a pastry/light breakfast! I really enjoyed my cappuccino and wish I... had time to stop by one more time before heading home! Read more
