Wow... over priced and S L O W. Been waiting around an hour and still our order isn't ready. Waitress did stop by twice. Once to... say they were out of something then 20 minutes later to ask if we got our food yet. NOPE... DISAPPOINTED in wait and lack ofservice but coffee was good. Today was my last visit to Bongo. I?ve been coming here for 10 years and this place has dramatically increased prices (much more... than comparable with other restaurants? understandable inflation-responsive price increases) and seriously decreased itsquality. After having to repeat my simple order to the cashier, the point of sale system prompted me to tip 30%. THIRTY PERCENT.My $4 side of hash browns was way over spiced and oiled and amounted to about a quarter of a russet potato (imagine paying $0.60for a russet and then charging people $16 for that same potato and claiming the price increase is inflation and labor andspices. Like. YIKES BRO do you even economics?) Black coffee only arrived after having to go up to the counter again. Foodarrived without utensils or napkins. I?m more sad than mad. Absolutely one of my favorite spots! Love the vibes, love the coffee, and absolutely love the Staff! Dee, the manager, is the... kindest and made our visit so much fun! Highly recommend going. As a queer couple it is truly a blessing to see how this smallcafe is supportive of anyone and everyone.
