We had a great experience at Bob's. Our waiter Larry was excellent and took care of us. Ask for Larry if he is working. The food... was tremendous, the glazed carrot was top notch. We had a late reservation and did not feel rushed at all even though it wasclosing time. Tried the Japanese A5 Wagyu and it was legit. Momma I love these Tomahawk Chops!! They were seasoned perfectly ???? and grilled to perfection! The edges had just the right... crunchiness to make your mouth savor for the heart of the chops. Once I bit into the first chop, my brain immediately signaledthat I must not stop until both chops have been consumed. They were just that delicious. The chef really took time and putlove into my meal! Thank you chef and I shall be back!!! Before I forget, did you check out size of that jumbo shrimp? Thiswas the appetizer????. Think of your typical "steak and potatoes" meal, but make it fine dining. Very classic American-styled steakhouse, traditional... menu with Southern staples. There's nothing too adventurous; everything I had were tried and true and all tasted good. The foodcertainly live up to the "Texas-sized portions" claim. I have to dock a point for the steak. Although the cuts were very highquality, several of the steaks of various cuts came back very rare, despite being requested as medium rare or medium. That beingsaid, the steaks (seared in butter, seasoned with salt and pepper) were still very delicious. ????: Two of shrimp cocktail,shrimp remoulade, and fried shrimp. These were the largest shrimp I've ever seen in Tennessee. ????: Seared scallops --scallops were juicy and fresh, the bacon accompanying it was tasty, but overpowered the scallop a little. I liked the citruscream sauce this came with. ????: Bread -- special mention because it's SO good! It has a crackly crust like New Orleans Frenchbread and came with lots of salted butter. ????: All steaks came with a carrot (which was roasted with brown sugar, delicious!)and side of potatoes (options were baked, smashed, or skillet fried). You can request Hollandaise, Bearnaise, and blue cheesesauce on the side, although the steaks and potatoes were very rich on their own. ????: Lobster Mac and Cheese -- very generousportion, even tasted delicious reheated the next day. Very creamy, lots of lobster. ????: Brownie Sundae -- warm peanut butterand chocolate brownie covered in ice cream, nuts, and pecan chocolate sauce. Absolutely stupendous. Read more
We went out for a celebration dinner. The staff in the front said hello and then gave us the just a minute finger. We awkwardly... stood there for a few minutes before they finished their conversation and welcomed us. The waiting staff was quiteunprofessional for a fine dining restaurant, chatting quite loudly and making comments such as, "i don't get paid enough forthis." Our waiter was ok. She didn't try very hard to make it a memorable experience. We ordered two great salads and a sidewith my husband ordering a steak. His steak was good but his potatoes were stale and over cooked. My brussels were burnt to acrisp which I would've told the waiter but she never came around. Quite disappointed in choosing this place for a celebration. Read more
