Reviews for Jimmy's Port Side in Narragansett, RI
Great service from friendly and attentive staff every time my husband and I go. The food is the best seafood around with every... meal made to order. While this may result in longer wait times, it's totally worth the wait! Some of the best lobster bisqueI've ever had with every bite packed with flavor and lobster meat. Quality food made with dedication to the art for sure! Read more
Food is AWESOME!! Highly recommend it. Cooked fresh by order, not a long wait but we'll worth waiting for. Delicious
Ordered stuffies but had to pay extra for tartar sauce because it doesn?t come with it. Ordered clam chowder and lobster bisque... and only got one cracker bag to put in it?not worth $ to get the stuff if you can?t get condiments and things with them? The foodwas yummy though, tasted good! Read more
Lunch in Galilee during the summer is always a treat. Hadn?t been to Jimmy?s in a few years so decided to give it a try.... Portions are HUGE and the scallops were delicious. Two dissatisfiers?..first is the 3.9% surcharge for using a credit card.Lunch was not cheap - $32 for lunch and a beer and the added charge for using a modern method of payment seemed a bit much. Fried food is kind of salty, so during lunch I got up and ordered a bottle of water. It was three dollars for a bottle of waterthat costs $2.50 per case in the market. Although the food was good, the up charges were a turn off. Won?t be back. Read more
Can?t say enough good things about Jimmy?s Portside ! Always super fresh and great portions. The lobster sauté is out of... this world and the lobster with two pounds of steamers with chowder and clam cakes and a stuffie with dessert is a real NewEngland feast Can?t wait to go again Read more
I was in the area for something else and stopped for lunch on my way back to CT. I wanted a Lobster Roll, did a Google search,... and ended up here. It was around 1pm in the off-season, so there were very few people around. Hardly any wait. I ordered thehot lobster roll and a bottle of water. My total (with a small tip as it?s walk-up window service) was $30. That?s a lot forlunch for one person, but they did cram a lot of lobster onto that bun. While it wasn?t the best lobster roll I?ve ever had, itwas still very good, and I like that they put the butter on the side instead of on the roll, as that makes the bread all soggyand nasty. If you?re headed to Block Island, I?d absolutely recommend this place as it?s directly across the street from theferry and super convenient. I don?t know that I?ll go out of my way to come back here, but I would recommend it to others. Read more

Great place for a meal after a day of relaxing at the beach. We ordered clam chowder, clam cakes, 2 seafood combo platters, and... a grilled cheese for the lil guy. Everything was fresh, hot and tasty! The lines can get a bit long due to the high foot trafficbut it's definitely worth a try and the wait. We had so much food left over. And it surprisingly warmed up well and tasted justas good the next day. Read more
