Been going here since I was a kid, and my parents since they were kids - we went back today after not going for a few years and... the quality has plummeted. Used to get piping hot clam cakes, smaller size but with lots of clams - today we got big clam cakeswith almost no clams and they were served cold and the texture has changed. Fried clam roll was decent. NE clam chowder was not acceptable - watery, some potatoes, no flavor, no clams- total... disappointment...I did return it and I got some stuffies which were marginal. A young lady resolved the food issue quickly and Iappreciate that. Thank you. Read more

As a local of Point Judith there are plenty of options for seafood, but Aunt Carries is a favorite. Great food and great... service. The staff is friendly and always working so hard. A week prior we waited over an hour next door at Iggy's even afterordering ahead online. Our wait was just a few minutes at AC?s and we were able to catch the sunset on the beach with our food. We only went to the ice cream shop, not the restaurant. The ice cream truly tasted homemade and was really rich and creamy... plus the portion size was large so it was well worth the cost. Excellent food, great portion size, at least 2 meals. Prices are seafood prices, but readonable. Expect $25-35 per person. The... clam cakes are huge but that's good because you'll want more. When done, hop across the street for some ice cream from theirshop. Again, very good and a good portion for the money. Read more

Began with the Rhode Island style chowder that was very good. Had the seafood platter with lobster salad. Wife enjoyed a bowl of... the New England style clam chowder and side of shrimp. We heard good things about Aunt Carrie's. Our group of 7 was seated with a minimal wait for a late lunch. The homemade cinnamon... bread was a nice surprise. Most of us were drawn to lobster dishes while a few had other seafood. We were all happy with ourmeals. The hot lobster roll had a good amount of tasty meat, but the hit was the BLT (Bacon lobster and tomato on home madebread). We spent little time there and we enjoyed a fresh salad with tasty and very well cooked scallops (our neighbors enjoyed their... fried seafood by the way, clearly the speciality here!). The homemade desserts were so terrific they are a must-order! Veryreasonable prices and affable staff. Read more
