Shame it's not near as good as it could be. As a long standing PB member its consistently disappointing. We still go because if... the beach. Very very Inexperienced restaurant staff. Clearly not privately owned where every customer counts. We always feellike we are an inconvenience to staff. Always!! Will stick with beach. Beach staff seem to have fun sitting on their phones. Absolutely GORGEOUS views! The staff, particularly at the bar, can often be stand offish. Let's just say they take their time... making their way to you, and then act like they are doing you a favor by serving you. Not everyone of course, but enough that Igenerally expect it. For some reason, the South Beach staff is (was, because they're currently closed for renovations) muchfriendlier. It IS smaller and more intimate, so maybe that's it. The North Beach could be any sterile waterfront resort, butthe (nearby) Ritz staff is trained MUCH better in customer service. Read more

Water was very warm,nice.There was the red tide so the red (kelp ?) Was irritating but only the first five minutes or so.Once we... start body surfing the waves the red tide became part of the adventure. Also went fishing off the wooden road that goes fromparking-lot to beach.Caught five small catfish and showed them to the kids that would come by.Lastly, a storm came out of knowwhere.Lucky first the huge golf carts that seat 9 because its a long walk with all our gear. What an experience. I have typically rode my bike in the past to the tram station where they have ice cold water for you before... being greeted by one of the foundation staff members to scan you card - private membership. Newspapers are available as well.The tram ride is enjoyable and often see wildlife on the way to the beach. Once you arrive you are dropped off at one of myfavourite bars going. Plenty of screens to watch sports and daily happy hour drink specials. The location and environment can?tbe beat after a long day sipping on a cold one. Sunsets are top notch as well! Read more

Wonderful place to enjoy a casual beach breakfast. Every day brings different weather, tides, wildlife and tourists. I have... never stayed for less than three hours. Great place to people-watch and strike up conversation with strangers from all over theworld. Everyone is in a relaxed mood and happy thanks to Mother Nature and the great views. Couldn't remember a thing about anyof the meals I've had but will always remember this place. Read more
