We went twice this week. Really good food and good service. My son is gluten free and after they accidentally put his... cheeseburger on a bun, they not only remade the burger, but the manager also had them make fresh gluten free fries for him (theones on the menu are not gluten free) which we did not expect them to do. Our last visit was not good and instead of... leaving a bad review or never returning, we decided to speak with the manager. To our surprise, John, the owner, came to speakwith us. Great food and service! We found Off The Rock when we went "off the reservation" while staying in Marco Island for a trade... show & conference. Earlier that day we had issues getting lunch on the island itself, with one place having no availablereservations and another having an hour wait. Having made no dinner reservations for that night, we thought we'd have issuesgetting dinner anywhere close, so headed further from the resort area believing our luck would be better. I was being picky,refusing to stop at typical national food chains I could dine in at home and was so glad we didn't settle because we lucked outwith this place! The friendly staff seated us immediately, and asked to take our order within just a few minutes. I even had toask for a few minutes to look over the menu. After being out in the beach air all afternoon, we were starving, but the food cameout quickly too. Their stuffed mushrooms were delicious and portion size was sufficient as a meal along with the garlic breadwedges served with them. If ever back in the area I will definitely visit them again! Fun atmosphere! Very nice space. Food was flavorful and awesome service! First time trying this place. Got the Mahi tacos,... burger and hot chicken!! The sides were also nicely done! Nice and crispy french fries and rice and beans! Need to go back andtry more menu items for sure! Read more
Had a group of friends together for dinner this evening . Have ordered the seafood bake three times before and it was excellent... but not tonight. The dish is 32 dollars and change. Cannot believe this was the same meal I had before. Other people were happywith their dinner but not of the same quality or quantity. Our waitress never asked how anyones meal was or seemed to concerned.Sad that things have gone downhill so quickly. We normally visit this restaurant several times during season. Read more
