Had dinner there on Friday the 18th with two other couples. Only two other tables occupied when we sat down. We ordered drinks... and food and two other tables filled up while we were waiting. After waiting 2 3/4 hours for our food, and the other tablesserved, we were finally told of a screw up when our order was entered. My wife and I ordered the sea bass, and when they cameout, there was like a teaspoon of the famous scalloped potatoes, which they said they had run out. The vegetables were cold andmushy, and they threw some greens on my plate to cover the lack of potatoes. Oh, the sea bass with mango sauce almost makes mehate my favorite fish. So, I?ll never go back there again. Horrible waste of a $100 bill. Read more
Went for dinner upon recommendation and weren't sure about to expect but heard the place was good, the chef was well known and... tasty food. So we tried it we won't return. The food was basically tasteless and bordered on inedible. I had the shrimpscampi which was the oddest version of this dish with broccoli and artichoke? Maybe it would have been good if it actually hadgarlic in it. There seems to be a theme here to cater to a more elderly crowd with throw pillows on the chairs and bland foodwhich I'm sure suits that demographic well. Will not return. Read more
All you can eat Sunday pig roast was delicious. The meat was succulent, I requested particular pieces with skin and got it. They... have $10off bottles of wine then, which we took advantage of. Cafe Figaro is a restaurant that my family and I have been going to for years. Alex is an amazing chef and restaurateur. The... food is always amazing and service is impeccable. You can?t go wrong with any item on the menu. All of it is clearly made fromscratch and lots of love. Their Sunday pig roast has to be the most festive occasion in Bonita Springs. Alex really knows how tokeep his guests entertained and welcomed. Their wine selection and pricing is also great. While you may overlook Cafe Figaro dueto their location, it if definitely a local gem, and worth a visit. Thank you Alex for all the amazing dinners, lunches, andglasses of wine over the years. Food delicious We had a special $13.99 we chose the Figaro salad then the Veal Scaloppini and the scalloped potatoes (so good)... with fresh vegetables seasoned perfectly. And the wine was 50% off. They have a wine assortment of wine and beers. They have the best liver onions and bacon I've ever had. Their pork chop with... scalloped potatoes and broccoli wow. They will even offer a house salad as well for $3 it was well worth it. Nice calm quietatmosphere. Our waitress was very attentive courteous and nice.
