I?d give the food the 5 stars because you can actually taste someone?s recipe in each item. The breakfast sandwich on croissant... with added avocado is a personal favorite. The gluten free cookie is also a hit for a guy who has to find healthier snacks tocoerce his wife into eating them so that he can enjoy sweets too. This review is way overdue! (Not sure if you remember us) It's been 3yrs since this AWESOME owner donated such a beautiful cake... to my medically needed princess. An organization (Icing smiles) reached out to the owner of this bakery to see if she'd bewilling to donate us a cake & ofcourse she said yes! Not only did she make my daughter's first actual cake, but made her anegg-free one & took her allergies very serious! Something that we have have struggled for yearly due to my babygirl beingseverely allergic to eggs. My daughter still till this day talks about how awesome & beautiful her cake was & for that we willalways recommend this bakery! I've been a regular customer for some time. I usually take muffins and cinnamon buns to go. They do a nice job and you can tell... the ingredients are authentic. When you get lucky, I think that they have the best drip coffee in Naples. So.... Today I decidedI wanted a cup of their drip coffee. I walk in and look at the board and I see a medium cup of coffee is around $2.60ish a cup.I ran in with 3 dollars and with tax that would have been enough. The cashier tells me that it would be $3.47 for a cup ofmedium coffee. She said that due to inflation that it was the price with tax. So, I found the change and paid for the coffee. Toadd to my bad experience, they served me an old cup of lukewarm coffee. One thing I know is when someone serves an old coffee!!She proceeded to deny it. I walked out of the store and told the cashier that I will never come back and to keep the money. Iunderstand that we have inflation right now and expect to pay more. Everytime we visit FL we take an extra 2 hour drive from where we are just to come to this fine establishment! There is so many... choices and everything is made with the best quality ingredients! We were really looking forward to this place, but greeted with extreme disappointment. They have false advertisement in their... shop and the desert is "okay". We ordered "freshly squeezed OJ" and got fresh out of the fridge tropicana. Me and my husband have a juice squeezer at home and know what freshly squeezed OJ taste like. This was not it. I can?t believe I live really close to this plaza. The plaza in general is awesome really nice stores and restaurants, I tried... Angelic Desserts this time. Was good. The coffee was loaded with flavor ???????? my avocado sandwich was delicious ?but? thereis always a BUT none of the desserts items have names. Which is bad. So many items. No name. Angelic Deserts was worth the trip! Very large selection of vegan, gluten free and regular baked goods. The environment is... bright, inviting and whimsical. The staff were beyond helpful and accommodating! We will definitely be back for more vegantreats! Read more
My daughter and I had never been to Angelic Desserts before, but had read great reviews, so thought we would go and pick up some... pastries, while in the area. Bought a couple of blueberry muffins and a lemon poppyseed loaf cake. Love lemon and poppyseed.Couldn't wait to get home and try it. Well, let me tell you, it was the driest cake I had ever eaten.
