I love this neighborhood market! I haven?t tried all the things I want to but so far so great! The grab and go meatballs are... really amazing! Also very good is the mixed sausage and meatball grab and go. I?ve bought some of their canned tomatoes andsauce and it brought one of my recipes to the next level best. I?m so happy it?s so close to my house! Read more

I arrived on a Tuesday late afternoon. When I walked into the market I was immediately met by a gentleman asking if he could... help me, but it felt more of suspicion than customer service. Mind you I was dressed in a suit. I proceeded to look around andpurchase two bags of ravioli a large container of sauce and I made my way to the deli counter where I asked for a small amountof pepperoni. Of which seem to be a major inconvenience to the woman working. She immediately suggested I purchase thepre-sliced from the refrigerator but it looked quite old. With a large deep sigh she said OK I will be with you in a minute.,The other gentleman who met me at the door at this point was behind the counter and very aggressively asked me if there wasanything else I needed. As I?m looking around gathering more items to purchase he seemed quite cold and offset with the ladyahead of me. When I got my turn at the register I asked him for the bakery cookies of which I purchased many options . Thisagain must?ve been a inconvenience for him because he was as cold as the frozen ravioli I was purchasing. I purchased my itemsbut I left in dismay, that a small market would offer such a dismal and poor service. They were rude, standoffish and made itvery clear that they really did not like people shopping there. They made me feel uncomfortable as well as I felt bad that I wasinterrupting their day by becoming a customer. One thing I am sure of they made me feel 100% like I was a bother to them. Now Itruly understand why people are moving away from markets like these. I would rather drive to Chicago then be treated poorly, made to feel unwelcome, as well as feeling like spending my money there was an inconvenience to them. Now for my review, it isoverpriced, although the cheese and the ravioli was tasty the ravioli had been frozen for far too long and some edges werefreezer burnt, the sauce was the spicy spaghetti sauce it was like tomato juice, I had to add money ingredients whe Read more

I coincidentally visited the store and I was so glad I did. It is my first time visiting the store actually after doing... something I needed and definitely not the last visit. I actually heard few good things about this store from my friends before. This small store is clean and definitely an authentic Italian store. They have nice selection of baked goodies, deli, cheese, homemade sauces, pasta and even sandwiches! The staff in here is friendly and helpful and told me that their goodies especiallytheir baked goodies and sandwiches are freshly made daily. I was so excited to try them after hearing about it. I got onesandwich and few of their pastries and the prices are very reasonable. Their pastries are seriously so good especially thecannoli. The cold sandwich I got was good too. Everything is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place especially tothose who love Italian goodies and I can guarantee that they are authentic. Read more

I visited Zeppe's to pick up some homemade meatballs and homemade frozen pasta for dinner, and also to pick up some... non-perishable Christmas gifts (to put in an Italian-themed gift box--items pictured!). The young man behind the counter wasfriendly and helpful, and even carried my bags out to the car for me. Their food is fresh and delicious. I also ended uppurchasing three fresh-made sub sandwiches to take home for dinner. They were scrumptious! I have been going to Zeppe's foryears now, and will continue to shop at and support this wonderful local store for years to come! Read more
