Perhaps the only Indian restaurant in Naperville I'd recommend people to go to. Excellent food. They've kept up their standard... for many years. Friendly and efficient staff. Check out their sizzles if you go there. The decor definitely could do with acomplete revamp, as in the case of most restaurants! Excuse the photos. We literally had a red light on us ! Read more

Very awesome food. Buffet here is unmatchable (But you need to call them if buffet is available or not). You can get authentic... North Indian home style food here. There is some kind of underlying vibe here compared to other restaurants. They are also knownfor catering, Whenever there is small party in our homes we order from them. Read more

My friends made a last minute dinner plan and we reached at the restaurant almost before the closing time. Fortunately, the... owner was generous enough to welcome us as we drove for 30 mins to get there!! The staff is very friendly and treats you withwarmth & respect. The food we ordered was great in quality and delicious to crave for. However, I feel that the quantity of theorder served is below par when compared to other Indian restaurants. The place has an adequate Indian vibe and is set up in amedium setting. Yes, most important of all, BRING CASH if you wanna save on merchant processing fees charged on top of yourcheck! Read more

A purely vegetarian restaurant with authentic North Indian food. Very friendly staff and excellent service. Their baby corn... Manchurian is very.. delicious. Amritsari Kulcha, chole Bature was good. It's very close to Chicago Premium Outlet (around 4Miles). The interesting things about the restaurant are: 1. They provide disinfectant hand wipes and a small hand sanitizerbottle for each table. 2. They give a plate of papad and a mango lassi as a complimentary. 3. They don't have Thali onweekends. 4. Their fried rice is unique instead of fresh beans and carrots they are using potatoes. It looks like a veg Biryanibut tastes like a fried rice. Read more

I recently came to know about Shimla Peppers through a friend who was raving about its food. Being a foodie, I had to give it a... try despite the fact it was 50 miles away. 3 families drove to the restaurant and I must say it was worth the drive. The staffis very friendly, and their hospitality for the customers is top notch. Truly authentic North Indian food served with love. Wetried Amritsari Kulcha, Chole Bhature, Achari Soya Chaap, Tomato Soup, Hakka Noodles, Makki ki Roti and Saag, Chai, HariyaliPaneer Tikka, Jalebi Rabri & Gulab Jamun. Highly recommend Shimla Peppers. If you miss North Indian food, Shimla Peppers shouldbe your destination. Read more

Shimla Peppers a really good pure vegetarian north Indian restaurant. We visited this place with friends on Sunday and they were... able to accommodate us. One of the owners is always at the restaurant and they are making sure to provide you a good personalexperience. The place is nice and clean and the inside decor reminds you of a restaurant in India. The service is good, but likeother restaurants seem under staffed, hence the service could be slow. We tried various different entree and all were made intrue North Indian (Delhi) style. Some of the items that stood out were: * Amritsari Kulcha Plate: it's punjabi style chole withkulcha and side of spiced onions. This was our favorite dish of the night and the quantity is sufficient for one person. *Karachi Paneer: it was soft and flavorful. We had it with lachcha paratha and Naan. * Spinach Kofta: this was the first time wehad spinach Kofta anywhere. It was very good. If you plan to share then keep in mind that only 2 Koftas come in a singleorder. * Paneer Butter Masala: this was good and one of the few dishes that is not spicy. The restaurant also makes authenticromali roti, Delhi style, but unfortunately the day we went it was not on the menu. We definitely have to go back forthat. Overall, a great family experience and if you are looking for Delhi style food then try this place. Read more
