Lots of cars in the parking lot, thought the breakfast would be good, had a blueberry waffle and breakfast sausage, my wife had ... bacon pancakes and hashbrowns. Not much taste to anything, the breakfast sausage was about the best thing. My bill was $50 fortwo people...I get things are more ???? everywhere, but it hurts when the quality is just not there. Food is good but it feels wierd being the only colored people every time we visit. Guests keep staring at us, don't feel very... comfortable. Of course it has nothing to do with the establishment, sometimes the waitresses can be very curt and alsopatronizing in terms of pretending to put an effort to understand our accents. Feels like we are in Alabama or Mississippi notin Naperville IL with the staring experiences. Read more

My experience was beyond bias and unprofessional belief, 5-10 seconds after standing in front of the two young male hostess. As... I stood there with my protective mask covering on. I got look at, looked pass,, looked over. Yawned at, looked down at, lookedaway from and then he looked me in eyes and yawned again. This young guy with the medium dark hair. He never even bothered tocover up doing any time he was yawning. I got no type of verbal greeting as to a hi, hello, how are you, can I help you, howmany. Neither one of these two young boys even made an attempt to pick up a menu for seating me. I got no professionalhospitality from these two guys at all. After this time had passed a white couple came in and one of the guys snapped up a menuas the couple entered. The boy with the medium dark color hair stepped back away from me and around me to greet thiscouple and requested that they follow him. That?s when I interrupted with several ?excuse me? to ask why is he taking thembefore me . He stated he didn?t know what I was here for and that he didn?t know what I want. I asked the two boys why wouldn?t either of them trying to service me and they just looked at each other back & forth but didn?t answer me. An adult woman cameup to check in counter where we all are. She squeezed under the other guy with the thick long curly hair right arm side. Tosoftly speak asking. What was the problem. Since he did not respond. She ask again so I repeated the situation to her. I endup leaving due being made to feel disgusted, disappointment, blindsided, & discriminate against at this point, from these twoboys actions / treatment. This was not an easy like Sunday morning day at all, for my opinion of my experience at this cafe. Ichose to go to this pancake.restaurant to support small business, in my beautiful West Napervill suburban community. But, wasunfortunately unsuccessful this time.. Read more
Very friendly atmosphere with a great number of regular customers that staff members recognized and chatted with. Food was very... good. My only issue is that when I was served hot pancakes, the server didn't bring syrup. When I asked her for syrup, instead of getting it immediately, she stopped at the next table, took their order and then chatted with them for a fewminutes, and a few minutes later she brought syrup to my lukewarm pancakes.
