The pros are that the food is pretty good and the flavors are unique to most other places. The cons are that the serving size... is ridiculously small. I typically don't finish my meals in most places but despite ordering an entrée with two sides anddessert I am still hungry after my meal. It's been a while since I ate here and their serving size is definitely smaller. I'madding a picture and as you can see the chicken is only like half the size of the bun in their chicken burger. It's like achicken tenders worth of meat. It's embarrassing that the fork dwarfs the food. I hate the ordering process. It was an easyprocess and I had no issues but I think it makes it a lesser experience to have to sit on your phone while you're out to dinner.Also you have to get everything yourself, your drink, sauces,napkins etc. Because you're ordering online you tip before you eat.I think tipping is important but honestly there's basically no service. The food is good but not so much better that I'd bothergoing back, I'd rather spend a little more and go somewhere that will fill me up or provide better service. i went to a nandos in dc and the flavors blew me away. i decided to try this restaurant closer to home and i was blown away... again. the soda machine was broken but they fixed it with relative briskness. food was delectable always and absolutely worththe hour long drive down to naperville. I had met with friends for my birthday just for dessert. The manager reserved the patio for us free of charge and it was... fantastic. Everything was delicious, desserts and drinks, and I was given a complimentary drink also. I especially love thegrilled custard tart...so yummy! I've been here two other times for Nelson Mandela Day and for lunch. Great every time. Read more
We usually go to the Oakbrook location but haven't had any great experiences there lately, so we decided to check out the... Naperville location Instead. Glad we mad this choice, we were pleasantly surprised by how good the service was, everyone was soaccommodating and it didn't feel like you were going to a chain restaurant. It felt like you were in a MA and PA shop; the waythey paid attention to all the customers and went beyond what's expected of them. One of them even helped me placing the ordermanually at the register since it wasn't taking the gift cards I had on the browser. I can't quite explain it clearly, but Ithink they are under good management, and it shows. Even the manager was literally filling in to do everything, seating people,grilling, even sweeping at one point. Besides the great service, food was amazing. Decided to get the chicken wings instead ofthr Platter that we usually get. This is probably going to be the only Nando's location I'll be going to from now on. Read more
First time at Nando?s, food was very good. Ordered the Peri Chicken Tender bowl and I?d like to return to order other options.... The ordering process was semi easy for a first timer. I did like the fact that one can order from a table and have the fooddelivered there. The one thing I did not like was how sticky the tables were hence docking of one star. It wasn?t just my tableas another customer did speak out and requested for their table to be cleaned. There really were not many customers so no reasonfor tables to be sticky. If you want to spice your taste buds ,Nando?s is the right place. We had the avocado&roasted pepper bowl and Peri-Peri Wings+... Brussels Sprouts. We ordered and chicken livers,which were good but way too spicy for the medium sauce we chose,next time we?lltry the less spicy option. Read more
It was the best Portuguese food I have eaten for a long time. The taste of chicken was great. The variety of sauces was... exceptional. I liked the lemon and herb one s lot. The rice had a very nice touch of turmeric flavor; it was very much like apaella type rice. Read more
