Cassano?s has pretty good food but iffy service. In all honesty their pizza and ravioli are favorites of mine, but their service... in the last couple months has made it so we stopped ordering here. We tried to order the other day, but they weren?t able tofulfill the order. That being said, in the past they have had a tendency to forgot crucial items in the order - one time weordered two different ravioli dishes and only got one. Their delivery drivers aren?t always very friendly and it?s stopped usfrom ordering a lot of the time. Maybe you?ll have more luck eating in person, but delivery has been a no-go as of late. Don't listen to the bad reviews! This pizza is awesome! Story: So my girlfriend and I have been on a "pizza tour" of Lisle,... Naperville, and Downers Grove ever since Passero's in Lisle closed down (RIP to the best pizza & wings joint ever!). We havebeen searching for our new "go-to" spot in the area. The criteria: Must have dank pizza and wings. I'm not talking your standardpizza and wings. Must be pub style and absolutely delicious. So the pizza needs to be medium crust and the wings need to beslathered in sauce while still having that crunch. We are connoisseurs of excellence! Good pricing is also a plus. Conclusion:Now, although I was expecting to see a big burly Italian dude (like the pizza chef in Futurama) working at a place calledCassano's, it was actually a couple of Indian or possibly middle eastern women. But don't let the non-Italian origin of thestaff fool you! These gals know how to make a pie! And wings! And they were very pleasant/nice/polite to me! One of the firstthings I noticed in there was that they actually have a gigantic pizza oven. Like, a real one. Complete with 6 foot longrotating shelves. And it smelled awesome in there. I paid only $33 for a large pizza and the wings - not a bad deal! Anyway, Ithink we have found our new go-to pizza joint after trying literally every other spot in about a 15 mile radius of Lisle. Keepup the good work, ladies! Read more

Cassano's Naperville has been my favorite pizza place for years (and I've been going to this location ever since it was... "Frankies" in the 70's and through all the years as Uncle Steve's). Well, it's changed from the Cassano's days and it's notnearly as good. The sauce isn't as favorable, the cheese is heavier and less tasty, onions are now diced rather than caramelizedrings and the crust no longer has a slight layer of cornmeal on the bottom. To top it off, the service is lousy: the womananswering the phone isn't friendly and has poor English language skills... it's usually necessary to repeat my order severaltimes. Seldom is my carryout ready at the promised time (on my last visit I had to wait an additional 20 minutes after I arrivedon time). This review is based on 4-5 separate visits, I kept thinking they were just having a bad night; now I realize bad istheir new norm. Read more

Attempted to order online after a flight delay. Pizza looked liked this an hour later. Tried tipping 8 dollars on a 38 dollar... order which was $10 more than online with less food. Will avoid in the future. Attempted to call of tip went through no answerno email. Read more

I've been ordering for 5 years, and though Cassano's was never the best pizza in town, it was reasonably priced for its quality.... After going almost a year without ordering, I decided to order again tonight and I was disappointed by the new recipe. Thecheese was less browned and the pizza was generally less flavorful. There may be more cheese, but it seemed lower quality. Thecrust is also floppier than before. Sad to see a local place go down in quality. Read more

Yes they are under new owners and yes the pizza is different, but it?s still good! Big differences- more cheese which is melty... and better, the crust is flimsy and it seems they use larger bread crumbs instead of corn meal on the bottom, sauce is good butnot as seasoned as previous sauce. The outer edges of the crust are nice and crispy but the center can?t hold its shape. I dothink their pizza is still good. I wish they would have changed the name since they changed the recipe. Most of the negativereviews are because people expected the same recipe. I don?t think they do the free pizza coupons and the delivery chargeincreased to 7.00 which I could not find advertised but when asked they were up front about the fee. In general yes it?s not thesame but it?s still better than most pizza chains. I do miss the original Cassano buttery crispy crust but I really like thecheese change!! Read more

I ordered a stuffed pizza with sausage and got a thin crust with sausage. When I opened it when I got home, it was too late to... call back. If they give me what I ordered, I'll change this review to reflect the quality of what I ordered. Read more
