Found this place while researching through good old Google and so glad I did! We wanted to try this place to add variety from... wine during a daytrip in Napa. You know, variety is the spice of life! Went for a beer tasting and loved they also have wines toalso try. All their wines and beers are made next door. This is such a zen and peaceful place to visit. Small bites areavailable and are primarily sourced from their on-premises garden. Their beers are each different and unlike other types ofbeers had. Really like that they are local and craft? If the beers weren?t good enough, the service is PHENOMENAL!! Emma was soso attentive, kind, and just all-around warm. I miss her after returning. This is really a 5 star place. Love the vibe, the music and the wine. Living right down the street, I had been a loyal customer... for years and always recommend it to visitors. Three of my friends are wine club members and we spend money beyond the "1 freeglass". The problem is, when I recently went to introduce friends to their wine, they denied us service unless I, A.) Signed upfor their wine club on the spot or, B.) Spent $65 on a 1.5 oz flight. They refused to sell us a bottle of $80 rose and smallplates. It was a Sat night and half the tables were empty. But no go. We felt hijacked, so decided to leave and went to Cadetinstead, which was delightful. And, yes expensive, but we weren't turned away. I do understand St. Clair Brown is a smallproduction winery, but it felt ugly to be turned away as a customer from the beginning. Is it worth it SCB? Maybe so. Time willtell. Read more
This was an awesome experience:) I?m a total wine novice and Cole was extremely understanding and very informative. My husband... did the beer tasting and rated all three beers 9/10. Which is an extremely high compliment. We didn?t eat from the menu but Colebrought different things to try from the urban garden. Fabulous all around. Not sure how I found this place, but booked the wine and beer tasting as it's great for those people that are in Napa but aren't... into wine! It's a hidden little space with a cute outdoor garden area, under the trees in the shade. Very relaxed. The winetasting is served at your table, by the amazing staff. Our servers enthusiasm really shone through and made it a wonderfulexperience. They have food served via a vegan Mexican style food truck, which smelled delicious. We opted for a few small platesfrom their own menu and they were probably the nicest food I had in Napa! Simple but delicious. Ended up taking a bottle hometoo of the mixed white. Had an amazing wine tasting experience at St Clair! Our educator Justin was amicable and knowledgeable. Not only their wine has... the uniqueness from the owner?s twist, but also the food pairing was outstanding. I highly recommend ordering the hummus andpork rillette and fig jam. Great place to taste some amazing small batch wine and beers. The tasting garden is full of plants they use on their menu, so... expect to be surrounded by seasonal vegetables and have many of them on your plate (just don't tell the plants that). Read more
