Disappointed. Did not cut both of the pizzas I ordered. Also the chicken garlic pizza was so wet I had to put it in the oven for... 20 minutes on a rack! Normally they are excellent!!! Maybe new cook? Not sure?!? Read more
Normally I receive great food from Papa Joe's, however, tonight my $52. dollar pizza was delivered cold, majorly overcooed,... burnt and way too much red sauce. Additionally, my salad was shoved into a very small contaiiner with a large amount of onionsand lettuce hanging out of the container. I cannot believe I was charged $52. Dollars for this horrible meal and feel I shouldbe reimbursed. Higher prices with non-existent customer satisfaction and business owners could care less. How much longer shouldwe take this before we decide to boycott those places that chose this type service. Read more
Let me tell you about Papa Joe's. I recently moved to American Canyon, just outside of Napa about a little less than a year ago.... I've tried tons of different Pizza out here, specifically trying to find a independent or hole in the wall style location. WhileI was impressed with some of the chains out here such as Mountain Mike's, and Pizza Guys, which I'd happily give a 3 out of 5for in the chain business, nothing comes close to an independent and I needed something special. I was turned onto Papa Joe's bya local who I work with that has lived in Napa for nearly 20 years. If you're looking for what I would call a football pizza, asin a pizza that you could order on a Monday night or a Sunday afternoon while watching all of the games this should be yourgo-to. Without asking for extra cheese they tend to put on a generous amount, all of their toppings that I have tried have beenexceptional and top quality. When you ask for something well done it's always well done, and even without asking it's bakedincredibly well. They're also rather famous for their ranch dressing which they make in house, you're going to want to buy thelarge side of it to go along with all of your crust. I assure you it's worth it. I've not tried much other than the pizza thereand I think I had ordered an appetizer before, so I can't speak too much on their sides and salads but the pizza is ofexceptional quality. Napa is known for a lot of its food, but I feel that it hurts in terms of pizza that you can just grab andgo whenever, and I really would love to see a place that offers pizza by the slice that isn't just for lunch. So for anindependent place like this to be around I count myself lucky, because while they only do lunch slices, whenever I'm in need fora full size pie I know I'm going to get something not only worth my money, but incredibly tasty. Great pizza every time many different combinations great salads average price and if you save 12 receipts your 13th Pizza is... free. My favorite is pepperoni and jalapeno well done. 13th Pizza is free if you pick up they will charge a delivery fee ifdelivered clearly states that inside. Read more
