This restaurant is insane. Seriously. I’ve had food that was half as good in restaurants twice as crowded for three times the... price. Every single dish we tried was mind-blowing. The flavors are just perfectly balanced and complex. The miso brusselssprouts and Thai chili ponzu were especially good, but I’d want anything from the menu as my last meal. The waitstaff wasvery helpful and friendly, and the menu was well-marked for vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, etc. options. The building itself isbeautiful with great views of the river and even has a rooftop bar. (There’s an elevator available.) We didn’t try any ofthe wines or other alcoholic beverages, but the menu there was pretty extensive as well. Whoever is writing Michelin reviewsneeds to drag themselves away from the vineyards for an evening and give this place the recognition they deserve. The view was cool but the service and food was very disappointing! First of all, we ordered their poke bowl for dinner, then... the waitress told us they were out of it. Then we ordered the calamari, then they told us they were out of that too. After weordered our food, a server brought out an oyster platter we never ordered and put it on our table. Then they took it away whichwas awkward. We ordered the tacos for dinner which the waitress told us we could share, but that must of been a joke becausethey were TINY TACOS! The size of each taco was the size of a round tortilla chip (about 1 inch). 3 mini tacos for $24.99 isabsolutely ridiculous! After we ate, we looked at our bill and we were charged for 2 oyster platters that we never ordered!Terrible service and we will never go there again. Read more
I am traveling to visit some wineries that my restaurant represents. AVOW was my first stop, and it will be an experience that... is difficult to top! They boast an impressive cocktail list and carry many wines from the truly innovative and exceptionalCopper Canes wines. I knew the wines and food would be amazing, but the real standout for me was the service. The entire crewis so friendy,, welcoming, and GENUINE. Most memorably, my bartender, Aliya, is a true industry rockstar. Her foodrecommendations were spot-on, and I truly enjoyed our conversation. She made me feel special and provided an experience I willcherish for a long time. Definitely one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. Thank you!! Read more

The ambiance was lovely. The food was 5 star. The overall dining experience was a two or three at best. We were disappointed in... the timing of our food. We waited for at least an hour. The coordination between the waitress and the kitchen was lacking. Italmost seemed like they forgot to put our order in. When we discussed a situation with management we were dismissed. Ourconcerns were not acknowledged. The bill was $380 without tip. Overpriced for the service we received. Read more
This place was absolutely incredible! AVOW has the kindest staff, the most brilliant chefs and a super gorgeous location! I... still cannot believe how incredibly delicious each and every meal was! All the flavors were incredibly balanced and worked insuch harmony that it was like a symphony in my mouth! We were in particular fans of the miso roasted brussels sprouts, sincethey prepared exquisitly with just the right amount of crunch and tossed in a sauce that has the right amount of punginess fromthe garlic, a tiny kick from the chili and an almost nutty flavor from the sesame.
