Ambiance, service and cocktails are all good. They really know how to make vegetables tasty and we appreciate how simple but... effective the menu is. However, there could be just a few more options under each category to be more inclusive, and they alsocharged $6 for two pieces of toasted bread we asked for to dip the sauce with, which is a bit greedy even for us New Yorkers whoare accustomed to overcharging, and that is why I docked a star. Time to review the newest Nantucket restaurant. Let's start from atmosphere - great. Not your usual Nantucket restaurant and... that is why i like it. Inside give you this burlesque style dining vibe. Outdoor is great garden cocktails area. So to the mainsubject drinks and food. Drinks 5 of 5 we try 4 of the special coctail and they was just perfect. Great job bartenders. Food iwould love to give 5 stars but i can't so let me tell you why. Menu is small really simple. You have 5 appetizers and they arebased on vegetables. If you are vegetarian that is your place you will be in heaven. Unfortunately all of us love meat. We trypepita peppers, potatoes and carrots - everything tasted great. Flavor was amazing ????. Dinner choices are not many again - wetry mussels, shrimp and fish. For the meat lovers they had a pork dish and some crazy expensive steak for 2. I will be back totry it just because i am curious how it taste and i promise that i will change my review after it. Overall main course was finejust not big enough to full your belly. We did not try dessert because there was nothing that we actually liked to try .(updateon the desserts we went multiple times for smores and cocktails - was great) Last but not least staff was great, service was 5of 5 just perfect. Prices are pricey for what you get but don't forget you are dining at the newest Nantucket hot spot. Read more

We had an amazing dinner at Sister Ship. When we walked in I was amazed at how cool the ambiance was. It is lively with a... great vibe. The service was excellent. Our waiter ( Nelson) took the time to explain the menu, and chatted about various thingshappening on the Island. He was attentive and spot on with his recommendations. The food was Excellent. I had the halibut andmy husband had the chicken. We also had the roasted carrot appetizer and the kale salad. One thing was better than the next, but the halibut was truly off the charts. Can?t wait to go back for dinner again and for a drink at the bar. Read more

Such a great spot! Started coming to Sister Ship in the early Fall and it quickly became a favorite. The staff is incredibly... accommodating and friendly and makes me feel at home every time. Conrad behind the bar always makes the evening feel like aspecial experience and enjoys sharing his extensive knowledge of craft cocktails. The interior design is unlike any other spaceon the island. Definitely a must for anyone visiting Nantucket as well as year-rounders. Read more

The ornate interior and secret garden-like patio are accentuated by the attentive service and warm staff. It?s posh, but... comfortable. A fun wine list, seasonal dishes, friendly service, and the best marg on island (the mermaid, + I?ll take it w/mezcal plz) make this the place you want to be. The menu changes regularly, sometimes weekly, highlighting local products. Thecarrots and patatas are required. Actually just order all the veg. The chicken tagine is a winter fave and the sear on thehalibut is always perfect. My friends won?t stop talking about the mussels (enjoy w/ a glass of the Portuguese white). SisterShip is not just a pretty face ? they deliver a quality dining experience with care and intention. Read more

Lovely Valentine's Day Dinner! For our first time, the service was incredible, cocktails on point and such exceptional food. We... started off with the Kale & Native Green Salad and Smoked Fogtown Carrots then the Maple Leaf Duck Breast and Moroccan ChickenTagine, sharing each dish. We had leftovers which were just as delicious the second day. Everything was top notch, recommendtrying the carrots such a unique dish. The only disappointment is in ourselves for not going to Sister Ship sooner! Read more

Visited Sister Ship on 1/8 with friends, one is a professional chef. Let me start with the positive. The assistant manager,... Paige, and our waitress, Rosalee, were worthy of at least 6 stars. They were delightful, engaging, professional, and took verygood care of us. Those two made our experience very good. However, the positive ends there. We did not have appetizers ordesert, and the bill (see photo) was $380. Nantucket or not, it's not worth it. The expresso martinis were terrible, we getbetter ones on the Cape by far. The menu is extremely limited, only 4-5 entrees. Our meals were average, my wife had MoroccanChicken and the breast meat was overdone. But what really fries me, is charging $1 for tonic and soda (can't have a vodka tonicwithout tonic, doesn't need a surcharge), and even worse, an amaretto on the rocks with a charge of $3 for rocks! Three icecubes, for $3. What a joke. Just charge more and don't insult patrons' intelligence. It may be the new chic restaurant onNantucket, but we'll never go back. Read more
