Ordered 3 meals and 2 sides. None of the meals were correct and the side was missing the condiments that I was charged for. Bill... was around $50 and was not worth dealing with the depressed looking kid on autopilot manning the register. As someone withprevious c/s food/retail experience it definitely ends my patronage. This sonic was okay, but the menu screens did not work. The speaker still worked and I was also able to place a mobile order. It... would have been nice to be able to get updates about our order on the screen, especially since service was a little on the slowside. While of course Sonic is not immune to the recent inflation in food prices, it now cost $1 to add-in flavors to drinks,and this feels a bit too steep. Still, this Sonic is a nice place to quickly grab some food and happy hour slushes halfwaythrough a day on the beach. I would probably visit again out of convenience. Read more
Waiting to order for 15 minutes only for them to come over intercom saying drive through only. If they know they are not going... to be able to serve you like they are designed to, then put up signs so people are not wasting time. The workers were alsoextremely rude cutting me off while ordering. When I got my strawberry limeade, it tasted like just lime, no strawberry. Willnot return. Read more
Hands down the worst Sonic I have been to in well over a decade. The staff are incredibly lazy, stating they will only serve... fountain drinks when it was still 15 minutes to close, claiming they close in 5 minutes. Prior to this drive through experience,I tried ordering at one of the walk up kiosks only to be told it was drive thru only, and they refused to acknowledge me when Itried walking through the drive thru since my car was back at the beach house. The incredible incompetence and lack of workethic displayed by the staff has ruined years of fond memories at this specific establishment. Save yourself the time, gas, andstress, and stay clear of this Sonic. The staff would rather give you every excuse in the book than serve you. Read more
First...I hate to see all these negative comments. We have eaten here about 4 times this summer. Yes..the wait time is long.... Every drive through is exceptionally busy. But our food has always been fantastic. We have ordered hotdogs, tater tots, popcorn chicken, spicy chicken and everything has been delicious and well presented. All these negative comments about the wait. People do not realize how short staffed folks are and the ones working are doing their best. And oh...we love Sonic's OceanWater....truly refreshing. The location is very tight. The drive through took at least 25 minutes and that was after we waited in a kiosk spot thinking we... could order food, but we later got a speaker voice saying drive through only...if I were the owner I'd tape up signs on eachkiosk spot or on a sign at the entrance telling people that. The car line was so long we couldn't back out of our spot. My mealwas made to order but fries were soggy but my wife said her tots were better, so I guess get tots. Read more
Literally just came here for dinner me and my family, Ordered a number 1 meal and the burger I received only had a burger patty... and cheese, no lettuce not tomato no ketchup no mustard I had to put my own ketchup on it not to mention only a half a cup oftots. My wife ordered the foot long chili cheese dog didn?t get any cheese only chili and a half a cup of tots and barley anyice in our drink. LIKE SERIOUSLY????? And not to mention I call the store and a guy answers I ask to speak to the manager hesays ?one moment man? then 2 secs later hangs up on me and I call back and get voicemail LIKE SERIOUSLY??? 0 Stars. Absolute worst service we've ever experienced at ANY restaurant! They took FOREVER to even take our order, and there... was no one there. We literally just ordered the cheapest burger and wanted it plain with only cheese (meaning less work for theemployee); as well as jalapeno bites. My husband takes a bite and it has everything on it, so we nicely go back to ask for aplain burger. They ask for the receipt, we give them the receipt. They then ask for the burger back. Takes another 10-15 minutesto get that back. Still no one there but us. (Makes sense now) Husband gets the burger back and looks at it and they haveliterally taken the top bun and changed it out and scraped the stuff off because the bottom half has the bite mark my husbandhad just taken! We go BACK THROUGH and this is when they get an attitude with us. Literally insulting us. The guy there (in his20's possibly) says to the MANAGER, "Who cares, I mean look at them!" Not really sure what he meant by that, considering theyall looked like they were on something. Anyways, at this point we just wanted our money back, but they said they could not giveus our money back and they insisted we take another burger, which looked as disgusting as the first.
