I used to eat here back in the 90s often when it was at the original location on Greenmanville Ave. Recently had the opportunity... to go back (I've moved out of state) and it just wasn't the same. Had the scrambled eggs with crab and cream cheese with a sideof sausage, wheat toast, and hollandaise sauce. My daughter had the eggs over easy with a side of sausage and a fruit cup. Thefruit cup was quite disappointing, a few strawberry slices and mostly blueberries (not worth it). Our meals were average, nothing spectacular like I remembered. As you can see from the pictures, they were not visually appealing. Her hot chocolate waspretty though! I had a glass of OJ. Didn't taste like freshly squeezed, but can't confirm whether it was or not. Nice, secludedlocation with plenty of parking. It was around 10am so not extremely busy but a good amount of customers for just 2 waitstaff.Took a little while to take our order, but that seems to be an issue everywhere post pandemic so we understood. Overall, it wasacceptable, but would definitely not be my first choice as it once was. Read more

The food is always top notch here. If you like eggs benedict any variation is scrumptious. Regardless, as there slogan says, ... there are "No Bad days" when you eat here. I've always been satisfied with my food here after 10+ visits. Read more

Wonderful breakfast spot. Kind service. Plenty of great menu items. Wait for the food is a little long but worth it.

Best breakfast I have had in a long time. A must try in CT! I wish that I could try everything on the menu, but unfortunately... I'm only here for a few days. Next time I come to CT, I will absolutely try the other Benedicts. I got the Portuguese Benedictand the Crab and Asparagus Benedict. Both were absolutely amazing and the hollandaise was delicious. I Love this restaurant! It's small and cozy. The server Tammy was amazing! She probably delivered the best service I've ever had... in my life! My husband ordered an 8 1/2 (3 street tacos). He obviously ate one before I could take the picture. He said theywere hot and delicious! I ordered the 3 1/2. I'm impressed that the steak that comes with the breakfast is filet mignon and itwas the best steak I've ever had, yes, even better than steakhouses! The steak was exactly how I ordered it. It was soooootender and seasoned perfectly! The eggs tasted like I made them at home. They were nice and fluffy. Even the toast tastedspecial. I don't know what the cook did to it, but it tasted like the best toast ever. The home fries are good, nothing to bragabout and the pancakes are also regular. Everything was served hot. We were very satisfied! Read more

Service and food were very good. The manager/ owner was working the floor and the income guests, giving hugs to some of the... regulars I suspect. Busy little place. I bet it's beautiful in the summertime. Read more
