Drive-thru line was a little long but the food was good. We had to park to wait for our food.

The Oleander location is probably the worst Zaxby's I have been too. Horrible service. The wait is way too long everytime! They... literally cut up one chicken strip for a large salad. absolutely love this restaurant, they have pretty reasonable prices for meals and their fries are AWESOME!!! especially their... loaded fries and basically all their food in my opinion. they also have a really great price for drinks, like 20 cents?!!?!????? love their service too, it's pretty quick and nice. Zaxbys is what it is. Always pretty good. Nice selection of meals. My only complaint is ever since the "pandemic" this... establishment has struggled with staff and service. My complaint is not about any one individual but jus they always seemedshort staffed and lines are ridiculous at times . Otherwise I will always run in for a zax snack when the mood hits.. Read more

I arrived at Zaxby's drive thru line at 9:38pm on 8/18. @ 9:55pm I was next in line to pull up to the menu board to place my... order. The car ahead of me had placed their order and I could hear the employee working the mic give them their total. The carthen proceeded to move forward but the employee told them to wait. @ 10pm (5min later) the employee tells them to pull forward. I proceed to move up to the menu board to place my order. At this time the lights on the menu board turn off along withadditonal outside store lights. An employee at the board then begins to say that they apologize but Zaxby's is now closed and noother orders can be taken. I explained that I'd been in line since 9:38p.m. The employee then states that they can no longertake orders because their registers had to be pulled immediately at 10p.m. Well this was not true seeing that the car in frontof me was just pulling around at 10 and was behind another car at the window. Common customer service courtesy would have beento serve all that were in line prior to 10pm. There were at least two other cars behind me at that time. I understand thatclosing time is important, however good customer service is as well for creating returning customers. I will not bepatronizing this location again. I understand that 2 employees walked out during the shift we went, so a long wait is expected and that was fine. What wasn't... fine is the fact that all our toast was burnt, as well as the tenders.
