Worst ever. I ordered the rib eye rare, it came out so well done I could not cut it. They came back and got it and brought me... back a steak cooked BLUE, raw. Not rare. The baked potatoe had margarine and a huge black rotten area the size of 1/5 of thepotatoe. The collard greens must of been straight from a can, not cooked well and no flavor. I called the waitress and theyimmediately removed black part of the potato and replaced the steak with the raw one. They called it a ribeye, but we are luckyif it's eye of round. Texas toast, oh boy, margarine again and no garlic powder, salt, nothing. No country cooking at thisplace. One of My friends had the shrimp special, they said it's ok, but the coleslaw was flavorless and mushy. Last friend hadhamburger steak and Mac and cheese. No complaints. I won't be back. They should have removed my whole meal from the ticket andoffered something else. What a mess this place is. Read more

Tried this sleeper out after reading favorable review on Google. We witnessed a lot of regulars eating dinner here. Ordered a... triple Decker BLT for $5 and the catfish special for $9. They have different specials daily and they do accept credit cards. Everything was prepared correctly. Food was good, portions were good and service was instant. Don't be scared to try it outespecially if you would like to eat where the locals eat . Read more

This is country cooking. The prices were amazing. We had dinner one night and loved it so much we went back for breakfast the... next day. Fed 6 people for less than 10 each and it was a lot of food. The staff that waited on us the first day was amazing andthe waitress we had the second day was great as well. Although one of the wait staff was rude and was swearing in front of staffI didn't hold that against them bc one person didn't ruin the great experience we had. Read more

It was really a 3++. We were on the hunt for cheap eats and found this restaurant. We both ordered the special for the day which... was either 2 fried pork chops or a ranch chicken, 2 veggies, bread and tea or coffee for $7.99! What a great price. I did notcare for the ranch chicken, but that was more personal taste than how they cooked it. My broccoli soup and corn were good andsteaming hot. My friend liked her pork chops and said the collards and steamed cabbage were very good. Sweet tea was the perfectsouthern sweet tea. Servers and staff were very nice. The food may have been a 3, but the price was a 5. I'll come back and trya different meat. Read more
