Hidden Gem in Myrtle Beach. We had the most amazing dinner here looking out at the ocean. The garden salad which came with our... meal was served with homemade dressing on the side. So delicious. We each got the shrimp scampi. Outstanding. Have never eatensuch a delicious dish. For dessert we had the berry crisp. Yummy! We loved our server Terry. He was so attentive and trulycared about our dinner, etc. The manager Skylar came over twice to make sure we were taken care of. Such a nice man. You musttry this restaurant. It was here I slayed the mermen of R'lyeh and then had a cheese burger. Classy oceanfront dinning. Food was phenomenal and kind... staff. Music was just the right volume to talk and not be distracted. I would recommend this place after defeating the denizensof the deep. Read more

Nice Oceanview restaurant at Island vista resort. Make sure to get a parking pass from front desk. Food was good, had a coupon... for a complimentary appetizer, which we had to discuss with the manager who didn't know anything about it. Food was good, Ithink it was the servers first day as he wea very nervous and unsure of specials and how to serve. But in his defense he wastrying. Read more
Very good food. The chicken marsala was to die for!! Highly recommend dinner here. Breakfast is good too. Service is top notch.
Husband and I stayed at the Island Vista Resort and visited The Cypress Room twice during our stay; once for dinner and another... time for breakfast. Prices are on the higher side but the food was good. Service was great and everyone we came into contactwith was very attentive. Just be warned, as of the writing of this review, there is an 18% gratuity that is applied to your billregardless of party size. Hubby and I were aware of this since it was mentioned on our Hotel information paper, but just want tobe sure others visiting are aware as well. Read more
This place is extremely good, they cater for all tastes and they do it well. From a tasty burger from the tiki hut, to small... plates by the bar, to fine dining at an exquisite standard, or a really tasty pizza for take away (the dough is great). Picturedbelow are the flounder with crab topping followed by a crème brûlée and a keylime pie. The portions are very generous andthat was after a tasty salad. Shannon the waitress was bubbly and a joy and she just tempted us into them. The bar and the Tikihut are fun and they are staffed by very likable personalities. Just tell Morgan, John or Alex that I sent you and they willlook at you funnily. They will seriously go out their way to make sure you get what you want and they contributed greatly to ourvacation fun. Read more
We had an excellent meal at The Cypress Room. We sat on the outside patio which was totally comfortable due to the overhead... heaters. The live music and ambiance were beautiful. This was by far our best meal while in Myrtle Beach. Brooks providedperfect service and offered excellent food choices. The Cypress Room is a hidden secret that more should enjoy. Read more
