Service was awful! Came early?no line, no wait. Hostess were clueless when asked simple questions?this is a Texas Roadhouse-so... you have the honey buns (clarified in our question-rolls with the sweet butter). Looked at us and seemed puzzled. Restaurant noteven at half capacity. Placed our order. Server forgot to get ALL members of the party?s drink order. Brought one guest a sweettea they never asked for and charged us for it. Never received cheese fries app?was delivered to another table. Server broughtout meals and said kitchen backed up. Three members of our party ordered baked potatoes, of which two were supposed to beloader. Two loaded mashed potatoes arrived. Server claimed they were running short on baked potatoes. So server just gave usloaded mashed potatoes. A third one arrived halfway through the meal. The corn was soggy. The ribs were overly sweet. And youhave to pay extra to get another plate of the sweet buns?that didn?t seem to be the case at other Texas Roadhouse restaurants.Just a disappointing experience!!! We sat down for dinner and our waitress was very polite. She brought some rolls and we were wondering why they weren't the warm... yeast rolls we have had in the past. Apparently they aren't the same Texas Roadhouse that I was thinking. They brought outHawaiian rolls which were good but just not the same. Our waitress was great. We never had to ask for anything during our stay.I got a burger and it was delicious and they gave large portions as well. I ended up taking half my burger and fries home forlater. I would definitely come back here. I would suggest serving hot yeast rolls instead of the Hawaiian rolls because youcould tell they were just heated up in the microwave but other than that no complaints. Read more
If you are in Myrtle Beach, SAVE YOUR MONEY!! and go somewhere else. We ordered Filet mignon and a Sirloin. When the food... arrived I took a bite of mine Sirloin. It was over cooked and well done, which I ordered medium. I then looked at my wife?sFilet and noticed it looked like sirloin, so I took a bite and it was in fact a sirloin. We complained and they tried to arguewith us and said it was a pounded Filet and said ?If you didn?t wanted it pounded you need to order it that way?. The waiter intraining told us it was a Sirloin. The manager then came out with a steak, while holding it in her hand and touching it withher 4? long fingers nails, then had audacity to ask me if I wanted to taste it. I'm still at the table WAITING for our food and it's taking forever !! First off this is NOT the Texas RoadHouse that your... thinking of! The food is way more expensive and they have a 18% gratuity fee on 4 or more people. The food update will follow !I hope. Salt shaker was gross and filled with rust.(see photo) They need plastic shaker tops at the least. The food was goodoverall, the corn was cold and the LUNCH portion was small for the prices. I would not go back. It took over 40 minutes to getour food and they weren't even busy. I would try and find a Texas RoadHouse and leave the Texas RoadHouse Grill for last. Read more
